If anyone doesn't have a projector, just make some that don't need a projector if you can. It will fill some space and it will help out.

I think those last two of Thoma's could be done free hand. I'll probably do mine in free hand. Thoma how much does those fabrics you are using cost for each one? I have a good ammount of spray paint and regular paint left from the Eastern Conference display.

Maybe I'll just buy one queen size flat sheet, cut it in half, and get started after New Years, all that will cost me is 12 bucks. How much for the PVC pipes and where did you get yours?

I usually buy my fabric in bulk, at least from 10 to 15 yards across depending on sale price or coupon. I've been getting pvc pipes from Menard's at 93 cents a pipe. I am however shopping around hoping to find them cheaper.

    Black Cloth!
    Trigger vs. Symphony Broadcloth
    [IMG]

    *based on personal experiences*
Painting on black poly/cotton cloth with a latex/acryllic blend seems easier on the heavier trigger style. I've had to add three coats of yellow on the symphony broadcloth as the paint would bleed through. I even laundered the fabric in hopes that the fabric would tighten. I have not tried tube paint yet due to it's prices.

I have enough fabric for this first round to make 10 of this size. Mine are a little bigger, but I have the pipes for them. Maybe I was a little tired because my first one isn't the hottest looking thing:

Lol, almost embarrassing having this up next to yours. But, hopefully my artworks improves because I don't have a projector. I folded some fabric behind for the sticks.

Anyways, it should look good enough with all the rest we have and should fill some space. Mine are about the size of the McBride one from the playoffs. It won't look too bad, but not as great as Thoma's.

Anyways, we could use as many of these as possible no matter if your awesome at them like Thoma, or stinky at them like me. :D

See, I get symphony broadcloth and the price is usually $1.99 per yard. You have to catch them because they could have it on sale at $1.79 per yard. And then if they have a coupon that's boss, it will be 10% off any item in store including sale items.. They always have coupons in the ads here.(northwest Rust Belt area:p)

Ooooh come on now!! Practice plus repetition will get you to whatever level you want, not just actively, but mentally as you'll end up finding creative methods for making tifo. At least you and I'm sure others offline are doing their part. I'll often break down and do something freehand. There's a certain applause level that goes into those that do it freehand, or from graph paper to cloth. But since I'm looking to maybe kick off a business with this, time + mass production are vital so I go with the projector route.

Lol, how much did the projector cost you? My mom is a school nurse she may be able to score me one. I'm just not sure what kind of image I would have to print out.

    Can't like make slides.

And, yeah even the one I did tonight will do in the overall thing. It's says Crew on it and with the two sticks attached won't look bad. I'll get better.

What sort of business? Are you going to be a tifo making mercenary for soccer groups? :D Lol, if so I hope you don't do any work for our rivals. Your work is quality.

Maybe I'll just pay you to make my tifo's for me and then we can pretend like I made them. :D

Btw, I'm thinking of throwing up a Tifo page on my blog over the next two days and posting on there everything we made for past games and some stuff we have leaked out.

If you have an email Thoma I should give you permission to post on that. I get a pretty good ammount of hits, especially Central Ohio ones, can get your name out there for any business you try to make out of it.

If that ever happens for you, you can also post a link after you post saying if you want anything professionally done like this, click here for my website or email me.

I got this projector from Ebay for about $42. Before I went the Ebay route, most informed me of getting one at a school auction, from grade school thru college. So tu madre is your hook up I'd say. And the "slides" are actually transparency film (8 1/2 X 11)

LOL no need to worry, there will be NO making of tifo for rivals. If they don't have the mentals to be creative, well, sucks to be them, although the "enemies" are lurking this thread.

A tifo page is good and yes, if anyone would like tifo made and they don't have the means to, then we can work something out. Behold, the power of Paypal.[IMG]

Lol, my problem is I'm not much of a planner. I just start painting and spray painting until something comes out of it. I let the spirit move me.

I actually got a plan for the one I'm making tomorrow so it should be better. Tonight's one I was trying to make it look like graffiti. But, couldn't go with red brick because well then it looks like a TFC or Chicago banner. And, I think I should stick to my day job instead of becoming a professional graffiti artist. :D

After you graduate, you can have a tradeoff with one of your "clients". Get them off on a case and the client will "hook you up" (as well as the nordecke) with a street artist:cool: And those cats don't need projectors

Lol, that would be better than money for me.

I will be done with the tifo page in like a half hour. It has the obvious tifo and then just about every ounce of creativity displayed in the Nordecke over 2008 on it's personal blog page.

I had my Mom sew up six two-stick flags while I was home for the holidays. I can't remember the dimensions off the top of my head but they are similar to Thoma's. We also used the JoAnn's broadcloth but first sewed two pieces together to make the flag thicker.

Also. I have a projector here at my office that Myshap purchased for the group and everyone is welcome to use it. If anyone would like to use the projector send me a PM and we can schedule some time in the evening or on a weekend.

That's what's up. How many do you plan on doing (hopefully 150 right;)? at present I will have completed 27 two-sticks with possible aims for more (i.e. MLS CUP flags).

We're gonna have a shit ton of two stickers, banners and Tifo, Nice work guys!

Any word on regular flags, I think an MLS Cup flag with the new scudetto and 2008 underneath would be brilliant
