It's very improbable, unless Hugp becomes god once again and Almeria wins every game from here on out.

Does anyone know if Hugo has confirmed his assistants at Almeria? If so, who are they?

Why wouldn't they be? Sanchez' reputation in Spain is absolutely stellar. I am very happy for him as I thought he deserved a chance to redeem himself. But it had to happen outside of Mexico, and his only option was Spain. If he does enjoy any kind of success (which I beleive he will), it will be very intersting to see what happens in June, especially if SGE cannot crack the CONCACAF secret code.

If SGE can win in Cbus and Azteca vs US hes on smooth sailing, even if he loses to el salvador away.

If SGE loses 1, and does mediocre vs the rest, and Hugo does very well, then eyes will shift.

If SGE loses 2 in cbus and Azteca vs NADS, and Hugo does great, Carlos Albert will explode.

They have a great respect for him because of his abilities as a player. But his reputation as a coach has no ground over there. I think Almeria fans are excited about a change, period.

Not even Real Madrid treated Hugo with respect at times. They called him el "Sudaca."

    Carlos Albert explodes anyway.

But Joserra is the one that I'd like to see eat his words, in a way.

I just want Mexico to start playing the football we all know it can play.

Never said they were. I was referring to Chelsea and Inter. Still, like I said before, Porto can afford their share of players with above average talent as opposed to Almeria.

Porto has more major international titles than some of the world's elite clubs by today's standards.

That is all I will say about that.

Someone, who in their mind, never commits any faults or doesn't have the ability to learn from mistakes, because he creates none, cannot be successful in the long term. I would take a pessimist any day over a disillusioned optimist who has no ability to self reflect and admit mistakes.

Hugo needs to be the spotlight, and at Almeria, this will be a difficult task, but this is all he can get and he should be glad he can get this much.

Are you sure? Look what it did to his career as a player? Maybe it was because he was a QUIET disillusioned optimist. :D
