I can't believe they aren't televising this match.:(
Not that it really matters since I have to work. Here's hoping Sara will cheer the team on to victory!

Half-time still nil-nil. According to match tracker we've had 7 shots, none of them on goal. 'Boro has 2 shots both on goal. :(
And Fellaini gets another yellow, for dissent.

Then match tracker isn't good. Peanut had a shot come off the woodwork..if that's not on goal I don't know what is. Also Gosling had a good chance too..in fact he's looked pretty good out there for being his first start as a Toffee. We should be ahead right now but we got unlucky. The ref has be pure crap right now. He's calling every little push or nudge and that's the only reason Fellaini is booked right now.

i agree, he seems to be calling fouls on fellaini based on his reputation. Pienaar rocketed that ball off the outside of the post and Lescott should have done better with the ball he had with his back to the net.

This is a time when I would think about getting a sub in for Fellaini. Protect him from a second yellow, and save his legs for Sunday. But this is what we have on the bench today.

    7 Andy Van der Meyde
    1 Carlo Nash
    38 James Wallace
    28 Victor Anichebe
    27 Lucas Jutkiewicz
    36 John Kissock
    26 Jack Rodwell

Not a lot of options for David. Maybe Shandy Andy? Or young Mr. Rodwell?

I'd like to see Rodwell come on

1-0 final. 3 more precious points for our Blues. And 3 clean sheets in a row for Tim and the defense.

Bring on Sunderland on Sunday. I'll get to watch that one on FSN. Delayed, but I'll still get to see it.

Impressed with Gosling. Really. If he's like this all the time (and we won't know until later), our midfield actually has some depth :eek:

Missed a couple of sitters though that really could have relaxed me...

I agree. He looks like he has a knack for getting into chance taking space and worked hard to win the ball. I'd like to see him play against Sunderland.

Here's a photo of the cross coming in from the corner when Cahill scored:

Really was a great game. Beautiful night in Smoggie-ville, practically spring weather compared to what I left in Chicago. It was funny - every time Timmy touched the ball, the Everton supporters sung "USA, USA, USA". And some random old dude hugged me and kissed me on the cheek when we scored.

    What a great time!
