Re: Hugo Sanchez (Tecnico) at Almeria If Hugo had never opened his mouth about the Olympic team, he might still be coaching El Tri. They were unfortunate to lose the Copa de Oro and had a great showing at the Copa America. I have a feeling that we have not seen the last of him as the coach of the NT. Maybe not this cycle, but if he does well with Almeria and can be a successful coach in Spain, why not? All he really needs to do at Almeria is avoid the drop and this will have been a successful campaign for him. We'll see.

Re: Hugo Sanchez (Tecnico) at Almeria When I heard the news I was shocked. I hadn't heard any rumors about this. And although I am not a big fan of Ego Sanchez, I wish him all the best out in Spain. Him succeeding can only benefit us. As far as the refuerzos, LMcVP mentioned Nery and it makes lots of sense for them to get him. He's an Hugo guy and he needs a team. Magallon would be a nice addition, but I don't think Chivas would let him go.

Not that he's been playing great or at all even, but Shakhtar is not going to let him go for free after what they paid for him. It would be nice if they could bring Bofo or Magallon over. How many years does Magallon have left on his current contract? If its less than 2, he would go for about 4 or 5 million dollars US.
