Dude, Europe is not like S. America...no one cares if Man U win so it can bring the trophy to UEFA. On the contrary, most people that do not directly support Manchester, want to see them loose and therefore will root for Liga, the underdog.

From my end - GO GET EM, BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck Liga!!! I have a good feeling that this could end up the same way that Inter vs Barcelona ended up a few years ago. :)

Cevallos is the man! Bolanos needs to get through the MU defense.
Manso is conducting the mid field well. Bolanos gets through we can score...

    Vamos Liga!!!

Damn Damn Damn:mad:. We could of won this game Cevallos was saving our @sses the first half he had a awesome game. And then that punk vidik bowed bieler and got red carded and I thought we had it. Manso played a very inspiring game he was a beast but Bolanos ahhh not so much also a lot of bad clearings by the LDQ defense. I wish we would of won this game so badly. But still very respectable 1-0 loss to Man U. Liga definitely stepped up there game but came up short it was a very entertaining game.

we played a very respectable team against a literal juggernaut...que fluminense?! liga played well and proved to be a worthy representative for CONMEBOL, we showed that we have capable players as well. aside from the dissapointment of any loss, I am glad, proud, overjoyed to have even gotten this far with a worthy side showing a display of football that at times showed that they could even win the game...the dream is still alive, and if and when we win the libertadores again, we'll play and win the club world cup. I love this team through thick and thin....although mistakes were committed, I know they really left it all out there...L-I-G-A

Liga made us proud again. Despite the fact that it's not the same team that won Libertadores, they still stood tall against Man U, which is still probably the best team in Europe.

All I can say is Bauza will be missed by far the best coach I have ever seen in Ecuador as far as the game I could only think of what it would have been like if Rambert Vera and Guerron would have played today. The midfield really needed Vera's foward runs and great passes and of course Guerrons ability on the one on one. I was little disappointed with Reasco and Urrutia's play but I think both were playing hurt and so that is understandable. Arraujo and Calderon played a hell of game on defense. Also wished Salas was't hurt so we could use him in the second half instead of Navia.

Liga played great, the effort was there but not all the players seemed confident, Manso and Cevallos were awe inspiring.

I felt really bad when they kept showing cevallos crying on the goalpost, he could have easily been satisfied with his brilliant performance but you have to love and respect his competitive nature, it is what makes him a winner

I swear to god, I COULD HAVE CHOKED JAIRO CAMPOS. He should have put that ball in the back of the net. and against clubs like MANU, you are lucky to get one or two clears chances like that a game. Que grande eres Liga!!!!

This sums it up... But I'm still very impressed by the way Liga played against M U. They really wanted to win.
Last night Manso & Cevallos were Ligas MVPs.

    Wow, that actually hurt.

Not taking away anything from LDU; they played with their hearts. They exceeded more than I could dream.

However, My eyes were watery. Thant really hurt.

GEt Manso Naturalized and let him play for the NT
