Why ? T&T will and must always stand alone. We don't need no confederation. What does Grenada and SVG have to offer us? This is not cricket and even for that it is time for us to leave the West Indies team. But that is a different topic for a different site.
We need to think of unifying not dividing especially in these uncertain economic times but you're right not a topic for here. What they have to offer is 200k more people from which to pic a great team, the biggest benefit however is that we won't have to play them in these tournaments
My TV says Fox Soccer Channel should be showing the Cuba:Grenada game now but they're showing a Club World Cup game instead. Does anybody know why?
From what i hear they are having technical difficulties and couldn't get things gonig before kick-off. They might have the Guadeloupe game but it all depends if they can fix the problem.
Here is the result from the Cuba v Grenada game: To avoid any spoilers for those that may watch it later on, you need to highlight the section below to see the result. After FT, Cuba 2 - 2 Grenada. Game went to Extra Time, but no one managed to score so it went to penalties, were Grenada won 6-5.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribbean_Nations_Cup_2008#Semi-finals has the Jamaica:Guadeloupe score for those who want it.
Jamaica just scored the first goal of the game on a penalty kick. Edit: 1:0 at halftime. Edit: 2:0 in the 75th minute Edit: Jamaica 2:0 Grenada was the final score
hey just stepping away from the topic here: I found a old soccer match back in 1978 between Haiti vs Cuba.... For anyone who haven't seen manno sanon play i think you should watch... the whole 90 minutes was exciting.. go to http://www.ayitinou.com/index.php?o...44:kajou-tv-canal-&catid=30:article&Itemid=50.... Once the player loads click the thing that says On Demand then on the left scroll down to where it says Foot Ball, click on it and you should see where it says Haiti Vs Cuba..
I believe this was played in 1976 for the WC 1978 qualifying. Both games ended in a 1-1 draw and Haiti progressed after a playoff game.
