I trust his sincerity in that statement. Again, good luck, Sigi. Thanks for the Cup.

Okay first off Bill this is not attack on you and i know this may be a little off topic but why do i see so many Bull $hit post coming around. Sigi this, Brad That, the sky is falling ect......

The Crew Board in my mind has gone to the $hitter..

I will list some of the threads i am talking about below

    1. Columbus Destroyers Could Be Folding(Good to know but wrong place - Should be in NSR thread)
    2. Nordecke Gets Extra Time Award (Its good that we are getting good light on the Nordecke - Should of be in the in Crew Supporters Clubs)
    3. Allot of the Same thread being created over and over again because people will not take the time to read some of the things that are said (McCullers to Dallas)
    4. Also some flat out dump post - MLS colors, Proposed Crew Logo. What do you think?( yeah its cool that some one took time and changed something but its way out of control now - Tits, Girl on girl, ect...)

I do know that i have also helped making this the mess that it has become. I just think we need to take step back and look at this and try to change some things. I know i am going to change some things on what I do and what i post of Big Soccer.

Thanks and now back to your normal bitching about things...

Mowry, although you go round the houses a little bit to make the point,
    I agree.

    WTF!

Guy hijacks a unique thread... the one that best portrays how Sigi feels about the Crew, and its fans to complain about BULLSHIT threads?

    I call Bullshit!

Only thing I agree with, in particular, is that he's guilty of it too.

Yeah, seriously. JM -- I think you posted, like, 3 T&A pictures in that logo thread.

And now you call it out? You ok?

    Thanks for the input.

    Now go fuck yourself.

Let me explain something here, since you obviously have some cognition issues; and I'll try to be gentle, tactful and kind:

Look, you blithering twatwaffle, it's the offseason. So we'll talk about whatever we want, including the Bluejackets, the logo and your sister's snatch, and you can like it or you can piss the hell off.

Your friends must think you're a real fun guy. Seriously though, you should try getting laid sometime. Tends to loosen you up a bit.

I can just see you sitting around a bar table with a few guys. Someone brings up Arena football and you tell them that's not an appropriate topic.

Someone else mentions an award they got and you shout them down since you think that ought to be discussed in the parking lot.

Someone else wants to show everybody some pictures of nice tits, but you grab them and rip them up - we'll have no tit talk here, no sir.

Who the helll died and left you in charge? Who the hell are you to tell anybody wha they can and can't talk about? Where the hell do you get off?

You don't like the discussions around here, then please: don't let the freakin door hit you on the way out.

    Unbelieveable.

After clicking on the thread title, I, for one, was glad that this was not a photo thread.

    OK, you lost me there.

Also, like Petty said, why not complain about it in one of the "illegitimate" threads, as you see it.

Also, it a message board, lighten up a bit.

Although I am said to see Sigi go, it will give Warzycha his second opportunity to manage the club - albeit with much more seasoning and under someone who knew what they were doing.

Even when he brings another team to CCS it's going to be impossible to hate this guy...at least for the first game.

"The fans -- that's one of the hardest things for me to leave and one of the hardest things in my decision-making process. There was a bond. The scarf I wore was very special to me because it represented for me the bond to the fans and the bond to Lamar (Hunt). That's something that will always be very special to me."

This really sounds heart felt from the big guy and I agree that it's going to be hard to hate him when he returns with another team. He does say that he knows that we will support the Crew no matter what, that's what we are here for. So he knows he'll get some sh!t when he's not wearing our colors in our house (as he should) but I think he's cool with that. It's all part of the soccer culture but I'd almost guarantee there will be part of him that will want to come over and celebrate a win or a loss with the Nordecke. I'm sure Bob will do a very good job in the future but we should never forget who was the biggest part of getting us where were are now. Good luck Sigi. We'll have respect for you but we'll boo the sh!t out of your new team.

Wow, not sure what the middle part of this thread was about , but Jesus.

Anyway, it really sounds like for once all parties are dealing with this situation in a professional manner. MM is saying it's been good and fun and good luck and Sigi is saying it's been good and fun and good luck.

Really in all of this is there any point where any of the critical parties have acted like assholes. It even reads from that article that Sigi has told the Crew of his intentions eventhough he doesn't have a solid contract offer from Seattle so that the Crew could move on. I mean really how upstanding is that.

Sigi will always be Crew to me.

I hate to see Sigi go. I always thought we had a chance with him around. Going to the games was fun again. Thanks for that Sigi!

Can somebody else do that too? I have no doubt. Is it Robert? Maybe. I hope because he looks like the heir apparent. My problem, my delima is that I don't just want to win; I want a dynasty and a tradition that makes other teams envious. I want us to keep DC from the playoffs every year. The only way I want Chicago to see the MLS Cup is by tuning in to ABC...and well, Toronto...drink a Molsen and say maybe next year. I want Columbus to be the model that all other team try to emulate. For that we need a great coach that can get the most out of his players like SS did.

Thanks again, Sigi. Good luck, wherever you land.

I really didn't like the very first sentence of the article. It comes off as if we're being written off once again, a mere 3 weeks after winning it all. Who's to say that Bobby Rifle won't win us a Cup next year? The fact remains that our boys in yellow are for the most part intact. You know, the same team that JUST WON THE CUP. :)

I see what you're saying, but realistically you can't really bring on a new head coach and NOT call it a 'new chapter'.

I agree that it's pretty civil at the moment.

But you'd expect it to be right now since it appears that both sides may be doing some maneuvering and both have good reasons to want to appear reasonable.

I wonder if, two months down the road, when some issues still aren't resolved and the Cup is farther in the past, if maybe the gloves will start to come off.

I'd like to think that everyone can just shake hands and walk away.

But "amicable divorce" is usually a myth.

It's funny - I know it's just semantics but it was such a weird tenure for Sigi. Obviously it was the Crew's most successful season, but was the entire chapter the most successful? I dunno.

I compare it to a Tom Clancy novel (if you like his stuff - if not, well this doesn't work). Painful to get through the first 1/2 to 2/3, then a joy at the end.
