He's going to leagues that arguably aren't as good as the MFL.

Every Mexican player in another league opens up a spot for a young Mexican in the MFL. I'm all for Landing going anywhere.

Right Now Im Playing With The Austin Aztex FC In The USL-1
I Was Drafted By The Kansas City Wizards Last Season, And In The Off-Season I Went To Train With Morelia With My Brother Who Plays For Them, It Was Only For Off-Season, But In All Honesty He Didnt Impress Me.

If you're so good why didn't Morelia offer you to stay?

i stayed with KC because i had a bigger opportunity to shine there other than at Morelia, most of the guys had already had a name for themselves, including Landin. so i really was an outsider

what's your take on Elias Hernandez? From the few times i've seen him play (on TV) it seems like he may be El Tri material in the near future? Your thoughts?

haha.. its all good bro, ho harm done

i mean im happy for Landin if he goes, but of all mexican players in Morelia such as Ever Guzman who is a good friend i'd rather it be him going than Landin. but good for Landin anyways

Yessir They are and have already signed a few good players such as: Freddie Ljungberg

but most likely i'll stay home in austin for one more season before i make a move elsewhere, The Austin Aztex have also went into partnership with the Monterrey Rayados, so i'll have the opportunity to play with them in the next few months as well

I read on wikipedia that the owner of the Aztex is on the board for Stoke City in the Premiership and that they have some sort of partnership with them. Is it possible for you to head to England?

Thats Awesome man! you will love it in Austin

we played last seasons games at Dragon Stadium In Round Rock, right now were looking for a new ground to play our home games.

we might be using UT's Mike Meyers Stadium, but its not for sure yet

    Yes Phil Rawlins (aztex owner)
does own part of Stoke City, and although it is possible for any Aztex player to join Stoke city. it would be a difficult process as well with strict work permit issues in the UK

so far they have sent their u-23 side to play our team, and they also played against Monterrey Rayados u-23 team as well

even if any of us were to make the big jump.. we would most likely end up on the reserves for them

How well did you guys do against them?

I mean it seems like it would be tough but not impossible

You also figure playing in the reserves in England would probably pay more than in the USL

    our u-23's beat theirs 2-1

    and they beat monterrey's u-23's 2-1

in a few months when the EPL season finishes. their premier league team will play our USL team. its gonna be exciting playing against premier league opposition.

oh and im sure their reserve team does get paid pretty well compared to us, and i wouldn't hesitate to leave to leave to Stoke if it came down to it
