Yes, its true, I´ll take pictures for you all to see. supposedly its a futbol bar that plays all the Peruvian Div 1 games. Tonight´s game decides the champion, it´s Sporting Cristal de Lima vs. Cienciano del Cusco i´m gonna wear my DC United gear to represent and try not to get beat up. I was gonna go to the actual game but it ended up being in Arequipa instead of Lima, which is like 3 hours away. Also for xmas I´m giving my cousin a Quaranta game worn jersey, he was visiting from Peru last season and I took him to a few games. Never having heard of DC United or MLS, he said he was very impressed with DCU and La Barra Brava, which is a pretty strong statement considering he´s a big European and South American soccer buff. That is all, greetings from Peru Pedro
Very cool. Avoid drinking too much pisco and going home with anyone who resembles a llama, or who may in actuality, be a llama.
Yea the place was awesome. I took a ton of pictures which i will post soon. And get this they had a huge picture/poster of El Diablo in DCU gear, with the DCU logo on the poster, i was amazed. The had a USA jersey hanging over the bar, and a poster of the US womens world cup championship team. Along of course with tons of other worldly soccer pictures/posters/signed jerseys etc... my brother in laws dad bought me a beer mug from the place and a couple little poster things with some players on it. Oh and I definately drank some pisco, oh and I found out u can bang a beautiful stripper in a private room for about 50 american dollars, not saying I did it, just found out that one could ps i didnt getbeat up over the DCU gear, instead everyone thought it was a sweet looking jersey
So, if I call that number for delivery, I'm guessing that it won't be in 30 minutes or less. Nice pictures man, thanks.
We'll put them on barra-brava.com in the travels section. Looks like an interesting place. Nice find PedroUnited.
yea that sounds good, good times. if i run into any other places down here, i´ll be sure to take more pictures.
That's some mighty impressive road-tripping Pedro. Bien hecho. BTW, Chico, your posts on the llama subject sounded pretty definitive. Is there something you want to share?
Bringing out the long dead thread here... Was there just a couple weeks ago. Thanks for recommending Pedro!! The pisco sours were yummy.
Hell, it would be great. Just a short flight from Lima to La Paz to go see El Classico between The Strongest and Bolivar
When we go over you can go sit with the rest of the Bolivar retards and golf clap for those sissy light blue uniforms. The rest of us will be in the Curva Sur setting off enough pyro to make Shock and Awe look like a 10 year olds birthday party.
