nice, yeah Mapie's concentration was skyrocketing when he was getting his wk nets. Ollie's concentration is a bit behind his batting, but I figure it'll catch up as he gets trained at older ages.

A bit of a nervy seven-wicket win vs. Big W'a. The bats posted a very disappointing total in the first innings, I'm not even sure we got into the bonus points, but we were able to finish off the second innings with plenty of balls to spare. I had to rest a bunch of guys who really got pushed hard last week, so the performance was well below what my first choice squad is capable of doing. Yay depth!

Sunny weather plus dry pitch plus second-string lineup = scary match right now. We're hanging in there as far as run rate, but my lineup is not as deep as it usually is and I'm going to need them to hold between 6 and 7 per over in the slog to survive.

Wow, looks like Badlands ran out the scrubs against me. I was hoping I wouldn't see anybody who could bowl, but it looks like LL didn't use anybody who can bat either, unlike last week.

Fortunately, my attempted pitch modification didn't go through overnight, so we're still on a somewhat friendly green pitch and I can take my full points win.

Yeah, I think I'm going to forego the 100k pds for day 3 and finish mine off quickly. I've got too many guys whose PFL I'm trying to bring back up after hell week.

yeah, the money is good but I'm ok with having FC matches only last 2 days.

Olivier just got called up to the WI National Team after his batting pop today.

    Congratulations!

It looks like the FC series will work out to be a little easier for me than I had anticipated, thanks to a couple of teams focusing on OD play.

    thanks!

I'm still in first in FC, but I'm not going to be playing Olivier in any FC matches so if I don't win that is fine. If I got promoted to the top flight I would get destroyed

Your only real competition for promotion is Bellissimo at this point.

I'm still not safe, if both Badlands and Flintstones were to take a run at staying up, there's still a chance I could get pipped, although it will be a close thing.

Hmm. I'm a little safer than I thought, on reflection. I'm three games up with five to play, but one is against a bot. Also, I beat Big W'a fairly comfortably the first time through, although their match ratings in this round look a little dangerous.

Cracking match between Bellissimo and the Flintstones this week. Match 12 between Flintstones and Badlands may decide who stays and who goes

This is going to be a slaughter. You're using your first team, and I'm using my second team.

I didn't know who you were going to play so I played my best lineup. I figure if I promote I can say I was in the top flight, but with the reshuffle I don't know where I'll end up

this is comical that I'm going to lose this one....

    End of Over 6: 23-4, runrate=3.83, reqrunrate=1.11 (71-10)
    Mosheua 3-0-9-1
    Olivier* 7 (4 balls)
    Black 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Mapie c. Dinning b. Mosheua 6 (FOW: 23/4)

well I ended up winning by 3 wickets. not sure how I hung on, or why my guys went down so quickly with such a small target to chase

Probably one or two lucky hits by the opposing bowlers, who are at least somewhat competent going by the other side's bowling ratings.

yeah, one of his 4k (wagewise) bowlers took out my wk, which is not right.
