Can a mere mortal like me come and sit down with you guys in the supporter's zone or is that off limits? Of course I'll be wearing my gold and black and I'll be ready to cheer. Yo si le voy le voy al Columbus!
hell yeah man, i'm only a member to the union's online site but i've sat or should i say stood with them several times. it's f'in great and i hope more people pack into that area than ever before. it would be nice to see a crowd close to chicago's 17,000 but more people in the area need to pull their lazy asses out of the house and go to a game.
i will say,i saw in 101 people with tickets (FO was selling them there- and the union was selling first couple rows online so who knows who bought them) getting ushers to either move people or make them smash in. and heard more then a few grumblings of people being pissed that they couldn't see due to the amount of people there. not sure if it was just people trying to bring friends out for the playoffs or just a bunch of johny-come-latelys but the corner seemed extra packed last night. good? bad? i guess it depends how you view it. i had a good time.
Hell, they even allow me in. Now it's true I went to the trouble of actually scoring tickets in 101 but I'm not a member of anything except Sam's Club.
Ya I stand were I always do and well some pimple faced as%clown started in on me with his pal I asked if he would like a smack ..that was the end of it ...its a supporter section FFS deal with it...
Another question off the question. During the summer when I went to games, we would get a south end ticket and just come over and rock out in the Nordecke. But after seeing how many people were in the Nordecke during the KC game, am I going to need to get an actual ticket in the section to get in there? I'm guessing not everyone there had a ticket for that section, but theres gonna be regulars there who will say they've been standing in the same place all season long. Most of those regulars who care enough about how close they stand to the field will be standing close enough to the field for it not to matter, but I was wondering anyways. yo si le voy, le voy al columbus
They are somewhat being a bit more strict about letting only people in with 101 tickets. Usually you just walk to the upper levels and come down and your fine. I would recommend getting tickets in 101 for next year if you plan on sitting in Nordecke just to make life easier.
To Bill--- If our beloved wins on Thursday, will you make yourself known? The whole section should wear shirts that say "I am Bill Archer."
I think everyone should get Guy Fawkes masks with their I am Bill Archer shirts. We are all Bill Archer.
I had 5 extra's with me for Saturday's game and I'm at 3 so far for Thursday's game. They all had a blast, unfortunately two of them are from out of town and can't make it back for Thursday.
Sorry to interupt the quest to de-mask Bill Archer, but I have a question of my own. I just bought a ticket for Thursday off the Crew Union site, will it be shipped to my address or can I pick the ticket up at the tailgate or will call?
FYI... My season ticket is in the South End (I don't know where because I've never been in my seat) but I had a call from the Crew that they are moving the tickets to the North End (mine in the Supporters sections) due to the Chicago fans.
Only distinguishable by their tailgate fare. fire: rat and old style red snatchers: beaver (the animal) and skunk piss.
