things have been quiet on his front as of late......

some imbicil named speed ball from that Garbage out fit sham marketing drink posted he hoped for the BB sake wilpon misses the dead line.....

This scrub smells of sheer fear of what a NY side will do to this area....

If he does not put a bid in - i dont think it means the end of the world - We are in a recession man - no one could have predicted this - if thats the reason - everyone has to understand!

Also there are other obsticles they are working on - he might just need more time.

As for people wanting no bid for us - If we bother you that much - we must be doing something right!

With that said - I still hope he gets it in today!

    HAHA

How can they be from a club side that NO LONGER EXIST!!!!!!!!

No way dude!!!! with each and every passing day this drink sham reminds me of that sad ass club of lies known as peñarol....THOSE JOKERS ACTUALLY BELIEVE IT WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE A CONTINUATION OF c.u.r.r.c.c

The wolves can come out all they want if NY does not get the bid in... I still wont treck out to JERSEY to see them any more cause no way am I going to help out that toxic waste marketing blitz...... and guess what they still wont be able to tap into the NY market.....

The millionares who have always been rich have never had a recession....dont make excuses up for the rich...

no bid will = graffitti BOLSO CAPO all over city field next year maybe even a few broken windows at the new place late at night.........

Its not an excuse for the Rich - The Recession is bad - stocks are down - companies are suffereing and it is becoming harder and harder to get Loans - im sure like the Loans they would try to get to help pay the stadium! Its not an excuse man - things are bad right now!

It's not the end of the world. I've said all along that it was my understanding that Wilpon was always aiming for 2012.

But don't worry. It's just going to take a phone call from Wilpon saying "We're ready now" and you'll be in whenever he wants to be in. I just think that he wants to give Citi sometime to develop and make certain all is going well (especially in this economy) and then bring a team in in 2012.

Yea - if he does not go through with the Bid - they will accept it - Honestly - I still expect the league to add more teams in 2012

Im not trying to be arrogant at all guys - when wilpon is ready - its going to happen - If something happens TOmorrow - after the deadline - he can call up Garber and say - Yo - lets do this and it will be done!

Not trying to be arrogant at all - but Wilpon does not have a deadline guys!

I would love to see a bid today but hey - everyone at our meetings knows the area and the obsticles - if you want to know more - come to our meetings! We know whats going on - we are just unsure about when he wants to go through with it - because only he knows that!

Relax guys - Not the end of the world!

The only thing that I know is that the business of making money NEVER STOPS. It's a 24/7 operation. Wilpon I'm sure knows that as well.

yes and steel is cheaper but it all depends on financing - there are other issues - if there are infrastructure costs to the project (Parking Lots - parking is a BIG issue over there) The city might not be able to kick in now - you tell millions of NYers that in this time we are building a parking lot!

It was very predictable. Even the credit meltdown. It's called greed, an uneducated public and politicians not doing their jobs so they can stay popular. Just wanted to correct that.

As we discusses on another thread. He is not in a rush. He wants soccer. He doesn't need it. He will proceed at his own pace and time. It is what it is.

Well even if they dont put a bid in you can look at this story positivly - people think this the same old - well not exactly

IT says the leage and the Mets are working on the TEAM - the Stadium is not being worked on - in fact they say the stadium plan went to Bloomberg and mention it being build on the pitchers mound -

So taking a positive spin on it - this says - the stadium plan is farther along than you think - - -- but the haters wont read it that way!

Negative Aspect - where the FECK is the bid! :D

This is very exciting guys! Although like most of you I don't see NY in the plans for NYC in the 2011 expansion. I bet it's not too far off there after. There will be a team there before I am 40! ugh. haha. Although NYC 2011 would be great news and a good bday present for me to wake up to tomorrow.
