    Let's start the business

    Lorca 0-3 Castilla
LORCA DEPORTIVA: Quintana; Aarón, Nagore, Baquero, Vicente; Zazo, Orlando (Joselu, min. 46); Busto (Moreno, min. 59), Eloy, Raponi (Jairo, min. 69); Perona.
REAL MADRID CASTILLA: Adán; Velayos, Schorch, Agus, Antón; Mosquera (Modrego, min. 67), Tébar, Palanca, Vázquez; Bueno (Gorka, min. 74) and Szalai (Zamora, min. 81).
    GOALS: 0-1 (min. 21): Velayos; 0-2 (min. 44): Bueno; 0-3 (min. 56): Szalai.

Rainy match where Castilla proved a spectacular efficiency in front of the goal. And yes, you may believe it: NO RED CARDS. Lorca has a competitive team, with players like Raponi or Perona. But Castilla was really in the game. Right-back Velayos – who is winning his particular competition for the starting XI with Opare – scored soon and by mid-time we were 2 up. No more match in the 2nd half. Good news: 3 away games, 3 wins; Bueno and Szalai scored, what means our front-men are on form; first match without red cards.

Next game, at home against Águilas CF on Sunday 28. They are in 5th position, so a good game to start marking territory.

Difficult question. One year ago I would have said without any doubt Bueno, but it seems his progression has stopped a bit. He should be playing by now in a 1st Division team. On the other hand, Szalai has a really bad last season, but now he seems very fit and scoring goals. I think we might still see more of him.

Here it is the report. Sorry for the delay but month ends means being late at work:mad:

Regarding other posters, yes it would be great more people participating in this thread. Last year 9Qui made a good job with the reports. Hope he does not mind as I took his mantle this year after seeing no posts in the first days. No problem if he wants to revert the situation back.

And thanks for the link for first Castilla thread. I was looking for it.

    Let's go to the business:

    Castilla 4-1 Águilas

REAL MADRID CASTILLA: Adán; Velayos, Schorch, Agus, Antón; Palanca, Mosquera (Javi H., min. 70), Mateos, Vázquez (Tébar, min. 51); Bueno and Szalai (Zamora, min. 76).
ÁGUILAS C.F.: José Juan; De la Cruz, Javi Selvas, M. Ortega, Pablo Suárez; D. Franch, Sergio (Navarro, min. 68); Sivori (Chito, min. 61), Casanova, Teo; Del Burgo (Meca, min. 68).
    GOALS: 1-0 (min. 6): Szalai; 2-0 (min. 52): Bueno; 3-0 (min. 66): Tébar; 4-0 (min. 72): Velayos; 4-1 (min. 89) Navarro (penalty).

We are there at the top! We finally won at home, no red cards, inspired Bueno leadership, our two front men scored, total control of the match from first minute til the end… we’re living happy days for Castilla. One more data: the min. 89 penalty scored by Navarro is the first goal we received with 11 men in the field. However, keep in mind this is a second team, what means maintaining a regularity through all the championship is a really difficult tasks. Let’s go to the goals: just in the 6th minute Szalai proved he is not only good with the head, a great touch in the area ended in the net. We have to wait to the 2nd time when Bueno scored after hitting in an Aguilas’ defender. 3rd goal a good volley from Tebar. 4th Velayos (who does not scored since playing for RM Juvenil and now is his 2nd goal in two matches) from free kick.

Next game, away game against Alcorcon on Sunday 5. Derby against a team of the south of Madrid. Will be a good match.

NEWS: Diario As reports we have offered €400,000 for Paraguayan midfielder Javier Acuña from Cadiz to cover the place of injured Fran Rico.

I wish I could contribute to this thread, but unfortunately, I don't have RMTV...yet.

I might be getting Sky in the near future, but I need to buy a TV first, and then suscribe to Sky...if I still have money. I'm a student, and the SkySports package is not cheap, so...

    Alcorcón 1-1 Castilla
A.D. ALCORCÓN: Raúl; Tito, Barral, Albarrán, Hugo (red card min. 89); Alberdi, Rubén Sanz; Susaeta (Ismael, min. 89), Nevado (Mauri, min. 83), Víctor (Calvillo, min. 63); David Sanz.
REAL MADRID CASTILLA: Adán; Velayos (red card min. 65), Schorch, Agus, Antón; Mateos, Mosquera (Javi H., min. 82), Tébar (Vázquez, min. 63); Palanca, Bueno and Szalai (Zamora, min. 73).
GOALS: 1-0 (min. 66): Susaeta (penalty); 1-1 (min. 86): Agus.

Probably one of the worst matches of Castilla this year: small field and contagious by a rival that its only game style was sent the ball directly to their giant striker David Sanz (near 2 meters tall). Add to this two more red cards (Velayos and coach Lopetegui) and a penalty against us. So things were really bad until Agus connected another spectacular volley to get the 1-1, save a point and remain at the top. What I liked more is that despite being ten in the field, Lopetegui put a 3-men defense and we continue trying to attack. Good intentions.

Be fair, Castilla were also using the same tactics with Szalai. Only when the sending off occured + the substitution of Zamora did Castilla started to play a little differently

True for this game. But others game we have seen more team play, specially with Bueno doing the offensive playmaker role.

Today Real Madrid played against Castilla a training match that ended 3-0 for the senior team. Two goals of Higuain and one of Marcelo. Mateos, Bueno and Tebar played with the first team for the occasion.

I just could find the first team line-up:

    ---------------Dudek---------------
    Salgado--Metzelder--Tebar--Marcelo
    -------Mateos---------De la Red----
    --------------Bueno----------------
    Higuain--------Raul------Saviola----

Codina played as GK for Castilla, and Drenthe and RVN went to the gym.

yea, we won 5-1 from Universidad de las Palmas.
Bueno scored 2x, one each from Szalai, Palanca and Javi Hernandez

    we played:
Real Madrid Castilla: Adán; Villafañe, Agus, Schorch, Chema Antón; Mateos (Tébar, min 33), Mosquera, Zamora, Palanca; Bueno (Javi Hernández, min.76) y Szalai (Vázquez, min.60).

Bueno is now our joint-topscorer (together with Szalai), with 6 goals each.

Thanks Glenn_69. I'll rest from my summaries :)

    Yes, we are undefeated:
RM Castilla. Games played 8, Wins 5, Ties 3, Losses 0, Goals Scored 22, Goals Received 9, Points 18.

    Conclusions from the match:
    • Lopetegui had to change the defense due to Velayos last game red card and the team maintained its security;
    • Bueno is growing even more and is becoming a true leader. He almost scored in the first minute, and in the 9’ he hit the net. He also forced the penalty and the expulsion of Deivid in the 41'. ;
    • Szalai continues scoring (with 6 goals he is topscorer tied with Bueno)

good to see Castilla doing so well, I just hope we don't have a fall-back somewhere midseason...

If we can keep on playing consistent like this, the title is ours to take!!

ps: so glad seeing Bueno playing well again...

Next week I'll be in a business trip to Lisbon - with no internet connection for the whole week. But nonetheless I managed to gather the info of the game, but will not see any post til Saturday.

    Castilla 4-0 Fuerteventura
REAL MADRID CASTILLA: Adán; Velayos, Schorch, Agus (Gary, min. 76), Antón; Palanca, Mosquera, Tébar, Zamora (Vázquez, min. 63); Bueno and Szalai (Javi H., min. 70).
FUERTEVENTURA: Nauzet; Richard, Marcé, Silvano, Soto; Núñez, Pedro; Alberto (Yaki, min.36), Futre, Iovani (Suso, min. 56); Memo (Yaki, min. 77).
    GOALS: 1-0 (min. 49): Bueno; 2-0 (min. 54): Szalai; 3-0 (min. 65): Palanca; 4-0 (min. 74): Palanca.

Castilla proved why they are at the top, and undefeated. Fuerteventura came to Valdebebas to park the bus in front of the goal. This ultradefensive style was very complicated for our players and we must wait to the second time to open the score. Bueno scored through a spectacular volley and all was done since then. Fuerteventura tried to tie the game and what received was one goal after the other. Szalai scored another one, tying with Bueno as topscorers of the group, as in everygame.

Hard game for Castilla. We played a serious team that did not concede any inch of the field. Szalai hit the post at the beginning of the match and at the end the referee does not indicate a clear penalty on Javi Hernández (to add some spice to Pedja’s conspiracy theory ;)). Nothing more. Just a curiosity, do you remember Federico Magallanes? The Uruguayan striker that during a short period ‘played’ with Real is still active in 2nd B. An away tie is not bad and the most positive thing is that we are still on top. Although there is still a lot to come, the four first teams are taking a difference from the 5th. The worst is that Zamora retired injured and we may lost him for some matches.

Zamora has an ankle sprain and will be out for next match. With Fran Rico already injured we may have problems in the left wing.

On another page, Anton, Velayos and Bueno has been called for cup game against Real Union.

    GOALS:
    1-0 (min. 47): Szalai.

Castilla won. Not over-whelming, but won. And in this match we have seen the debut of Opare after Velayos injury in min 29. The first half was hard, cold weather, not too much football. But after the rest the situation was different. Castilla’s victory was based in its two strikers. Bueno tried to surprise from the beginning, shooting at the start of the half from midfield. Szalai have another chance that was spectacularly saved by Lisandro. And at the 3rd came the goal: assist from Bueno, spectacular shot from Szalai. 3 points more.
