Sources in Spain have said the team is Espanyol this is from Futbol Ecuador

We faced other teams that are harder than bolivar but I think we can beat them....alot of players are missing due to injuries, its 4-2 Liga is winning so far we will have to see how we play tonight

yeah, it was a pretty bad game for Liga, I'm not gonna lie. I have to point out all the players that were missing, most notably Reasco, Araujo and Urrutia which made up such a key part of the team for the past few months. Anyway, the referee was terrible, just terrible, and did I mention terrible??? We scraped away with a a 2-1 loss which takes us to the next round, but Bauza will have to buckle down and focus on how to stop a potent and efficent attack from Boca Jrs. needless to say, we'll be ready for them and hopefully we can do what we did in the Libertadores...aguante la \U/!!!!!

it's against Boca Jrs....be realistic. The people that went to the Libertadores final paid $55 for Tribuna and over $100 for a Palco. Liga needs money for 2 reasons, to continue expanding the institution, to pay for the trips we're taking to Spain, Japan, etc....everyone wants the club to do bigger and better things while nobody wants to front the bill, this game is a gross exception to the majority of Liga games which cost anywhere from 5-35 dollars...If you can't pay 100 for Palco and want to see the game, go to General where you'll have more fun anyway....

Amazing what happens to a team when a few key players are missing. Figured as much. They have to wake up sooner or later.

Time to embrace the horror. Got my Jack Daniels waiting for me

man, I left my buddy's house in such a state of drunken depression after watching that performance. I can understand if a team lost, and TRIED and fought tooth and nail, but this team today didn't show any creativity, motivation or even heart....I am so disappointed because Navia should have been in from the first minute, Salas should have started, and Campos as well. Now we PRAY for the miracle in Quito which is such a distant hope it's almost impossible to get...no matter what, I'll stick by the team and root for the best result, we can play much better and will!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly as a die hard Barcelonista the only team that I hate is Emelec, I have no problem whatsoever with Liga we are from different cities so I watched the game unbiased, I guess the ecuadorian in me didnt want to see Liga humiliated but it happened, Now I don't know how many of you reside here In Ecuador but there are a lot of rumors about some of the players NOT BEING HAPPY AT ALL in the team anymore, such is the case with Bolanos, Urrutia and Manso if you guys remember that after Liga won the libertadores these players had real good offers from foreign clubs, but Esteban and Rodrigo paz denied their sale because they wanted to stay competitive for Sudamericana and Mundial de clubes, at least with Bolanos this isn't new, HE IS BEING DRAGGIN A$$ FOR A WHILE NOW specially in the second round of the local tournament, anyway I just thought that this could be a possibility of their lack of effort. I know Urrutia is injures but remember he did leave the team without permission a few weeks ago when the transfer to Fluminense got shutdown.

We just need Urrutia, Campos, Reasco and Araujo back. And i been supportive of Bieler and Manso since they arrived, but enough is enough!! They don't desere their spots in the starting team with this lack luster performance!! it has happened too much and they r costing Liga!! i think this is our team for the return game!!

    ----------cevallos---------
    calderon--campos-----calle
    --urrutia-------larea------
    salas--------------ambrossi
    -------------bolanos-------
    ------manso(one more chance)
    ------------navia----------

but i wonder if Urrutia will be ready... the only player who impressed me was Larrea! this guy got huevos!! and he moves foward very nicely!! looks like the future Urrutia!! awesome!!

Calle was such an upset to watch because he was one of the most bravos on the team throughout the whole game, yet he did so little on defense, Calderon was an embarrassment to the jersey, and Espinoza's inexperience allowed him to completely "shut down", it literally was shell shock for us...admittedly, Manso, Bieler, and Bolanos played a pretty lackluster game, Bolanos was at least making efforts to score. As for Larrea, he has the talent, speed, etc to be better than Pato Urrutia and it's no secret that Larrea is Bauza's new pet project, pero el man tiene que pensar un poco mas en el ataque and needs to be a better passer...I wonder why the Fox Sports announers brought up the fact that Suarez is (according to Bauza) a mini Guerron- maybe because he doesn't pass and hogs the ball up front. I saw this game as being Liga with a divided team-those that were trying (Cevallos, Ambrossi, Navia, Campos, Larrea, Suarez to an extent) and those that were jerking off (Bolanos, Manso, Calle, Calderon). I'll be pretty disappointed if I find out that dudes are playing poorly simply to bite their thumbs at the dirigencia for not selling off the team and their contracts because they can't overlook who gave them a chance, and who keeps paying their bills!!!! I believe strongly that the players were just out of touch, out of mind, and lacked leadership- Next week I hope will be much different...
