If there's one thing that might be good about Alberman not playing is that it might force Kashtan not to use a 4-5-1, which he probably still will anyways. Toama might replace him, which I think is good, but he doesn't nearly possess the same defensive and holding abilities so he won't really be replacing him positionally. Anyways, yeah, gal is a big loss but hopefully he will heal completely over the international break and continue his great form.

As far as Assulin, I heard Bruchian and Kiyal were also injury questions, so maybe we actually could've used him.

So whom shall I believe...? ;)

"Blockade im Rücken", what means a back blockade (whatever may be meant).

I think that it is a huge loss because Alberman is certainly more in form than our domestic players. The Swiss league (even though many of their players don't play domestically) has been in full swing for a while. Alberman could help shore up the defensive midfield, which would help the defense that was apparently in poor form against the Finns.

I don't understand israeli football why we take still the same bad players we have a lot of good young players,i saw the game against Finlande i hope it will not be the same team or we will lost there are some players who don't want play the defense is so bad we must take young players like Amir Taga , and someone know where is Toto Tamuz please?
    I don't understand why we don't put a team like that :

    Yossi Benayoun

    Gai Assulin Rudy Haddad

    Ben Sahar Toto Tamuz

I'm angry cuz we have very good players and we do with bad players i hope we gonna win toda

ok just some comments on what you wrote
Amir Taga is injured for 6 months so he obviously cant play
guy assulin is 17 and he has never even played in a league game in spain, so he wont be playing in any important qualifying games, where israel must win.
Rudy haddad isnt allowed to play with israel as far as i know because he played once for the france u-21's so he is forever captied with them, unless he gets fifa to make a ruling in his favor, which is highly unlikely
Toto Tamuz isnt even starting for beitar now, becuase they bought abreu (why i dont know) and he has been on and off injured, it is really sad, but he is with the u-21's right now, only 20 years old so alot of future to him.

they guys you wanted in your lineup besides benayoun arent even over 20 so give it some time, how many top national teams have their best players under the age of 20 (england, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil)....none i can think of with more than 1.
in my opionion israel must control possesion, use the wings, and get the ball into the box and give colautti a chance to score, and knowing israeli football, once we score it will be bunker ball the rest of the game. they never score more than 1...thats why the russia game last year was amazing

I agree. I'm afraid the Swiss will have a big advantage over us in terms of fitness and chemistry. They played together in a major tournament only a few months ago, the only experience our team has had in many months was a friendly in Finland and they looked very poor there.

If we're talking about youth and wing play then I think Maor Buzaglo HAS to start. Sahar also looked better than Colautti in the friendly but Roberto will probably start due to experience.

Well I hope it will good game. If we want to qualify we really need all 3 points, because we're at home and most likely will have to win against one of the top 2 teams (not us, Greece and Switzerland). A draw will be a disappointing result IMO.

We have to win that is just it, we have to, a draw is not an option.
Somebody should have bit their pride and brought back Avram Grant, we really need him right now.

I way I see it, is that this is our house, the Swiss are coming in to our house and it is our duty to defend our honor at home.

Haya Li Chalom (I had a dream) that Israel WON by 5-0!!!!

Rudy Haddad can play for Israel he got the nationality no problem for that i just say players who play now have not a good level it's just true maybe this is why we are not in the big competitions since a very long time

sorry if im mistaken but it doesnt make a difference if he has or doesnt have israeli nationality, as long as he played in a u-21 game for france and now he is older than 21 so he is stuck...thats what i have come to believe are fifa rules...correct me if i am wrong.
in any case, ronaldihno has spanish nationality but he obviously plays for brazil and cant play for spain.

But the thing about Ronaldhino is that he has already been capped by the OFFICIAL National team long before he recieved Spainish citizenship. Besides the only reason he got Spainish citizenship, like Kaka, is so that he would no longer occupy one of the non-Euro spots. I do believe that the requirements of La Liga and Series A, limits the number of non-European players on a team, so that they do not field all South American players.

Because Haddard (sp?) only played for the French u-21 team and not the national team, I believe that all he has to get is citizenship of his new country and be officially released from the French Federation. I think that he is fully eligable to play for us. But, what about the army issue? Has he served or performed some kind of service, because it is a requirement, if he wants to play for the national team he has to serve in the IDF in some way.

Apparently this is Kashtan's pick for starters:
    Dudu Awat

    Yoav Ziv
    Tal Ben Haim
    Avi Strool
    Shmuel Kozokin

    Biram Kiyal
    Tamir Cohen
Omer Golan (placed as a midfield for some reason)
    Salim Tuama
    Yossi Benayoun

    Roberto Colautti

I don't know what to say about this except I have a bad feeling about this game now.
