Watch online? Don't think so. But you can listen online at http://www.federalnewsradio.com/
WFED-AM has online broadcasts of DCU's matches. And there is Matchtracker on the MLSnet website.

Go Battery! [I'm not even a fan, I just want a USL team to win, although I did see the Houston=CHarleston game online. Good looking team].

Even more reason to hate DC United

We had our chances i will say but i feel like i was watching an Italian team out there....just flopping around and diving....no wonder why DC has won 4 MLS cups

    Great Open Cup Battery!!!

The DC fans thought this would be a blowout...guess they resorted to flopping to secure the win

DCU fan here who was at RFK tonight. The Battery showed a lot of heart, coming back from that initial goal. And your fans were impressive in their large numbers and large voices. Makes me think I should find my way down to Charleston -- y'all must have a good time at your games.

I was at the USOC final, sitting down front of your group. BTW-I got my green plaid shorts at Old Navy...you guys have alot of class, your team showed alot of heart and it was very nice to see the players come up and give you guys props when the game was over. Dusty Hudek is a very classy keeper and was unlucky to come up on the short end of the result. I personally applaud all the supporters who made the trip to DC. You all were a great group to be near.

And yes, I am more of a SJ Earthquakes Supporter, because I have history with them back to thew NASL.

Cheers and good luck with the rest of the USL season!

Impressive play from most of your team and supporters.

As for the flopping......seriously? The ref called DC for a foul on a play where Quaranta fell down and didn't even make contact with the Battery player who then fell down ahead of him. Just ridiculously bad officiating both ways tonight. Chris Williams and Stephen Armstrong are pathetic worms with no respect for the game. Just disgusting filth that looked like Carlos Ruiz sans the talent. Horrible garbage and both got appropriately booed like the trash they are.

No DCU fan, or fan of the sport in general, would ever cheer for those heartless pansies.

Great job by most of your team. Your backline did a very nice job of playing through balls and transitioning the game into some dangerous situations. You were significantly better in the air. An attacking mid with the vision/distribution capabilities of Moreno or Gallardo would have probably given you the game.

The supporters who made the trip for you were fantastic. Despite being badly outnumbered, you did your job admirably and here's hoping for a long and successful existence for your franchise and your city. Just learn to get all over your own guys doing that flopping trash and clearly faking injuries.

A relatively entertaining match by both sides.

    A few notes.

Charleston definitely looked leg tired towards the end. Their defence was solid aside from the 2 quality goals scoared by DC. Akwari and Wilson are studs. The Battery were able to create some chances (i.e. many more corners) but just could not capitalize and, when it seemed like there was a chance on a counter, DC got back just in time to diffuse it.

Again, a good match, a good showing by both sides. A tough loss for the Battery who still have a great deal to play for winding down in the USL term. Their form of late has been questionable at best. Now is the time to focus on the "domestic" title.

On my way home on Metro from the game I saw a Battery supporter with his wife/girlfriend waiting for the train and went up to congratulate you all on a great game. From my vantage point I couldn't see our fine CSC goons surrounding your supporters afterwards preventing you guys from celebrating with your team. Props to the players who jumped into the stands and made their way to the supporters. You all are a class act and hope we get a Coffee Pot Cup rematch sometime soon!

Hey Battery - well represented and well played. Nice to see an organized back line out there on the field for once as well as an awesome away team supporter's group. As a bonus, I discovered one of my long lost Fuller cousins too. ;)

As a DCU fan living in Atlanta but who wishes he lived in Charleston, I loved last night's match. When I finally move there, I'm very happy that the small town has such a great club and following.

guess you missed he as he grabbed Alsono's jersey....even my mom caught that and she knows nothing about soccer

as for Chris when he went down it was clear when he got up and started walking that he was limping and not to much later he was subbed out, Armstrong is one of our best and was clear he was cramping...but all and all i didnt too many flops...but some...didnt say all towards the end of the game did flop, incl your goalie

    was it a great game....yes
    was i a little upset...yes
do i stand by what i wrote right after the game....yes

I am not going to lie, I definitely take issue with DCU and how they acted out there. They seemed as if they felt they could take most of the night off. It is not the way a national tournament final should have gone, for sure.

If the match had been at Blackbaud, DCU would be licking their wounds and the Battery would still be drinking from the cup.

No sour grapes here, just sayin'...

What a match, great tournament overall for the Battery!

The only two questions I had all night are:
    1) where was the "stomach punch" that the ref called at the end of the game and
    2) how was Fred not called offside?

In the end it doesn't matter because there is no use whining over things you can't change. Great match though!

Well done Battery and well done DC

Yeu lot in DC have got my vote for the best "Hardcore" your Tifos were out of this world, and the smoke was constant and rightous.

Yeu lot in Charleston, this is what we in poker call "A bad beet" yer lads played their hearts out and they our still, in my opinion despite the loss, a credit ta the league and to the underdogs of US soccer.

Side note: BOTH OF YOUr SIDES NEED TA LEARN HOW TA FINISH!! It should have been AT LEAST 2-2 if not mroe with all the bloody chances that both of your squads let linger, especially the one by Akwari that went off the inside of the post "YEESH" and the break by, I think it was Gallardo but I'm probably mistaken, that needed only a deccent lob ta beat the keeper, and instead he bloops it wide?

No sour grapes, just sayin. :D
