what the hell is wrong with my heat...

we sign a young coach with nothing of experience...

we let go of posey, walker, and shaq last year..

zo retired and this year davis and williams are out to the clippers..

wade and beasley are not going to win us games alone.. we need a good center (elton brand would of been a great move)

$6M seems a bit steep in today's economy

you have 65 hours after nobody bids on conte to set a realistic price & make a play for THAT centre you missed out on last season, his team just went bot

Unfortunately, whatever I get for Conte would be my entire bankroll. Plus, I just think that 58K wage is too much right now for anyone.

It will definitely be interesting to see how much AC Ciclone's players go for. I'd be interested in Vyberal most of all.

he has better rebounding than case, but the other skills seem similar from what i can remember, $20k is a bit to pay for 3 lvls of rebounding (unless you cut the scouting budget).

he has got a PG i would like, my team doesnt have much room to move though with surplus players so i will most likely miss out.

listing adalberto could be an option...

I'm debating going after some players, but I really think that prices will keep going lower. Cash seems to be better than players right now.

i agree with that, i am really annoyed with myself for investing heavily in the market pushing for the title last season, only to not even make the finals

i am still searching for the perfect balance of salary to success ratio (ie min amount to spend to remain competitive), think that burger, lowe & luppino will push me into ineffective territory at seasons end, if not sooner during the all star salary updates. have to keep them going though to be able to shut ice down.

hopefully the fact KDB is spending $40k a week ($560k a season) more on salaries than his closest rival will allow the rest of us to catch up in this shrinking economy (obviously those calcs are faily basic & dont take into account attendance consistency from having a winning team)

I'm guessing my salaries have to be about the lowest in the NBBA right now at $106,000 a week. I still need to add a player or two to have any chance of staying up, but I keep going back and forth on whether to do it now or around midseason in hopes of getting much more player for much less price then.

according to buzzer control, turkey is spending $120k/w, so you are the least in your conf.

while red sox is facing the inside training curse i am dreading, spending $205k/w

manhattan is spending the least in the NBBA at $105k/w, just under you.

What's this buzzer control you speak of? ;)

I still have yet to use any programs other than excel. Anything good out there?

this is one of the better ones, doesnt do anything you couldnt yourself though, but i am all about the time saving.

it records your players skills every time you download the info from the site (i keep all that in a spreadsheet anyway) but the pages i find useful are the league page (bit quicker to scout opponents as the team fits on 1 page, but really after a few seasons playing against mostly the same teams you would like to think you know them pretty well)

dont really use helper programs either, but like being able to see which teams are spending the most on players.

in BB, go to tools > your profile > create/change access key

then just put your BB password in the first box, and put a different password in the 2nd & 3rd - use this to access your team in buzzer control.

it took a while to download the info first time, cos it imported every game my team had ever played, so it will take a bit longer for your team.

Which one did you get--I had a great one lined up earlier today, but then couldn't get on to raise my bid, then couldn't get on to set my tactics...thats a few games in a row now. Hopefully I can get some replacements and some time to salvage my team. I have to admit, my interest is waning. My supporter ran out and I can't see paying $40 to renew.
