People here are complaining about the field not the stadium, having a 50 year old stadium is no excuse for a crappy field.

 

Actually, this is all pretty much incorrect. Chivas USA is among the lowest supported teams in MLS but is certainly not "the poorest" (especially "by far"). Their attendance is roughly middle of the pack.

And they aren't in any financial trouble. In fact, they have among the highest amounts of sponsorship revenue of any team in the league.

There is some talk of moving the team, but that's mostly on message boards like this, not by people in power. If anything, the only "move" they'll make is to another part of the LA area by building their own stadium -- in the past they've been linked to Pomona, CA and more recently they are in talks with Santa Ana, CA in Orange County.
