I don't care much about Tenorio anymore ... he doesn't give anything to the NT. Be it as it may, hopefully he gets into a good team and improves his definition.

As the Lille article mentions, for a striker he is nearing his last good years. I see it increasingly difficult for a transfer to any big fee, especially given he has never really proven himself for Ecuador - except thankfully his great WC performance (where is that Tenorio??).

Plus, he's played so long in Qatar for the same team, he will have difficulty adjusting to another style of play, climate, coach, tactical scheme, etc.

If I were Vizuete, I would seriously start grooming Caicedo in any upcoming friendlies, bringing him in after 60 minutes to replace Tenorio and see what he does. I just can't see relying on Tenorio as target man over the next 1.5 years to take us to South Africa.

    CASTILLO SE MUDA A INGLATERRA
    | Fecha : 2008-07-09 20:37:10 |

Blackburn are interested in signing £6m-rated Ecuadorian midfielder Segundo Castillo. (Daily Mirror) The last post indicates that he signed...well I hope it goes through. Blackburn is a good mid level club. But with a new coach.

Whoever it is, they are pooping their pants right now. Castillo has amazing strength, he's huge, and he's a constant scoring threat. He's the ideal modern defensive midfielder.

Given that he costs 6M pounds (that's about 12M US$$!!!), and he's Paul Ince's first major acquisition as coach, that tells me that they are very keen on having him play a major role in the squad.

Juve won't stop trying to sign Castillo, he has until tonight to decide where he wants to go, Blackburn offers 3 yr. contract, Juve offers 4....we'll see, both teams are very good for him.....

CTenorio is going to Monaco for 1 year

He should go to Juve .... I see him doing well in Italy. Besides they have been interested in him for a while and have been pushing for him... If a team of that caliber wanted me that badly and didn't give up on me .. hell I would not turn that down. Besides I have a soft spot for Juve although I am an Inter guy.
