Maybe if the Polish rifle was the coach we could get the best polish player, Roger Guerrero. Seriously, I support all losers. I have never had a team that I follow win a major trophy in anything except sucking. Kaiser and all other German Crew fans, I really hope that it feels real sweet winning with all your polish strikers, Podolski and Klose are the biggest piles of dogsh#t ever.
Yeah! We've officially entered part 5 of Eggy's seasonology!!! I didn't expect this for at least 2 weeks!
Sigi has to be at least .500 at mid-season to stay. The exception to that is if the Crew lose their next two without scoring any goals. Then he has to go immediately.
Kinda funny coming from a guy in California who only choose to support the Crew because we came up with his man crush's lottery ball.
Umm....no. If a guy moves into your neighborhhod who has a history of being a pedophile, you keep an eye on him. Even if he has three or four months where he seems to stay out of trouble, if you see him starting to talk to one of the neighborhood kids, you call the neighbors, the cops, whoever. Point is, Sigi is in the third season, and with just two injuries and the rest of league adapting to the Crew's style of play, we're back at square 1: losing by two goals to inferior teams at home. The most consecutive games in Crew history without a goal. If Sigi can't keep up with the league, it's time for him to see the door. That said, I do wonder if Moffat and Padula were healthy, would there have been a difference these last few games? I have to guess the answer is yes.
- We were 6-1 at 1st (happy faces and all f***ing bragging.) - Now we are 6-4-1 and scratching our heads. -No DP slot *Im really getting sick of this crap. If we lose the next game mccullers and sigi better be gone. Robert better be coach and we better get a hell of a good forward. Unless we are 25-4-1 at the end of the season and win the MLS and US Open Cup sigi better piss off. He's been here for 3 years and done nothing!!!
The advantage of winning 6 of our first 7 was it gives us points in the bank when we lose players for the Olympics and WC qualifiers. We've used quite a bit of our cushion by the 2nd week of June and frankly don't look very good at all. SJ was as depleted last night as we were but found a way to win.
Yeah, they found Salazar's wallet. What a bullshit no call on Ale getting pushed down from behind in the box. Give us a PK or give us the goal.
Sigi was also counting on Gaven stepping up and playing the way he is capable-not having a wing who is dangerous. Of course its vital to have center mid like Moffat that controls traffic and a left back that can take the heat off Rogers is the key to Crew woes right now. Thats a loss of three critical components-an you truly blame that on Sigi? On the otherhand, just scoring 1 out of 10 of the corners and set plays would do the trick as well. Criticizing Sigi's formations is meaningless-that is not why the Crew is struggling right now.
Hmm... well, I don't really like players who work for Bayern Munchen (~1/3 of the national team, but specifically LP & MK) or have defected from VfB to another Bundesliga team for more cash (Kuranyi & double whammy for Lahm). The pride of Stuttgart is really Mario Gomez, but Kuranyi started to shine in the VfB Stuttgart system, just like a number of famous German national teamers (J. Klinsmann). From a national team standpoint, it is pretty sweet knowing we don't suck golfballs thru gardenhoses like the Danzig Debacle fielded out there. At least that turd Kahn has retired, which makes it that much sweeter to support the Nationalelf (national 11) Kuranyi isn't naturalized, his father is a German citizen, he was just born outside the country. A lot of the national teams have at least a player or two with strange national background ties to them. Gomez is half Spanish too, if you really care.
