I guess you only wanna see it from your point of view, America was fouling, waisting time, and all around anti-futbol all game and if the referee didn't call that ridiculous offside call in the first leg then Santos would have gone through with the 1-0

So you guys should be the last ones complaining about the ref

It was a clear penalty on Kléber Pereira. The defender was behind him and KP was about to shoot when the defender took him out from behind.

That wasn't a penalty, he clearly hit the ball first.

Right, so all those times Esqueda got smacked by the dirty brazillians, the four absolutely ridiculous yellow cards, and all those kicks to Cabanas was just the ref helping us out, huh?

Ismael Rodriguez hit the ball and only the ball. Kleber didn't even protest it.

Yet, surprisingly, another ref is biased toward a Mexican team.

Yeah, and they got punished for the most part on those fouls... but funny you ignore the offside call from the first leg, the penalty the wasen't called, the time waisting by America, if all this was the other way around you guys would be screaming bloody murder and bring up your lil conspiracy theories again

Looks like I'll be rooting for Liga, even though I think Boca is gonna take it.

True, at least all the 4 will be different. Let's check it out

    Brazil 1/3.
    Argentina 1/2.
    Mexico 1/2.
    Ecuador 1/1.

For the sake of keeping variety i would like to see a Flu-Liga final.

Anyway, Liga-San Lorenzo was an entertaining match, in my opinion Guerrón was so-so compared to other performances he had on the cup so far, i think Manso played better today. Although Liga couldn't capitalize their one more player adventage i think they deserved to go through. Then a pity for Santos they needed one more goal to push the penalties but América was superior in the first leg and Santos pretty much lacked ideas to break América's defense(i believe they didn't get any cross right not even the one of the goal which was more of a mistake of Ochoa and the defenders).

Many of the matches had been played like finals so i hope it keeps up when the real final is played.

Nope. Whenever you and everyone else was crying about the offside call I reminded everyone about the offside goal that was called against us that could have eliminated us from reaching the round of 16.

And there was no penalty. Kleber just got up and continued playing. He didn't even protest.

nobody would bitch about the oppposing teams play, if they came in winning 2-0, anybody with futbol knowledge would realize thats how they would play(like we did), but i will complaing about this reff, Santos player only got one 1 yellow card(in the 92 minute)?are you kidden me, which game was he reffing, somebody back me up man. they deserved to have had 3 yellow cards. although his calls didn't influence the score, it was still frustrating.....and yes I admit the offside call in the aztec against Kleber. it sucks.

I can't believe you're still bitching about that disallowed goal in Santiago. For the record, the ref incorrectly disallowed a Catolica goal against River in Bs. As. that would've put Catolica past the group stage because of the goal difference. As you can see, it works both ways.

America saw themselves favored by the ref work tonight. Is that so hard to accept? Doesn't take anything away from their qualification, it's just the truth.

That was an awesome quarterfinal round. So now the final four are set:

    Boca vs Fluminense
    Liga vs America

I think the final is Boca vs Liga.

It's not hard to accept. It's completely untrue. It's actually completely ludicrous. The ref didn't even say how much time was supposed to be played as extra time.

If you ask me, I think it would be a great story if Boca won it again.
