Hey, Hadji, why don't you just be a man and call me out by name instead. So called Lens fan? So I disagree with you at one point and I'm a so called Lens fan? I didn't realize having a different opinion than you meant I was some plastic fan.

Where are we now? Where the ******** have you been? Haven't posted since September, haven't updated your blog since then either and yet you're going to call me out (because let's face it, I'm the only Lensois here). You're a tool.

And while you're at it, read this https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=13580236&postcount=183 and then STFU.

Now go away and support Lille or VA from now on.

Yes, but Nantes underwent a huge overhaul in the club didn't they? I don't think Lens, especially Martel, have the fortitude to do this. Gervais walk away from his 85% share in the club? Not going to happen. Gervais not stick his nose in, hire quality people to run the club and stay out of their way? I have my doubts.

The Japanese firm owning GF38 - Index Corporation - is losing a lot of money (about 100 million Euros). Some months ago, GF38 lent money to I.C. Therefore Grenoble might struggle to finalize their L1 budget. If so, the french DNCG won't allow Grenoble to go up. There was a rumor about Grenoble being interested in some japanese players to attract new actionnaires.

Index Corporation denied it, though :

passion is part of being a real fan, but so is optimism, and loyalty. so try to be more positive, i see RCL back next year having learned a lesson.

but i agree 110% with your assessment of the GR fiasco. martel is a pretty good prez imo, but he made a horrible blunder there, and leclercq was another.

keep JPP! he never had a chance this year, coming into the situation he did and then having his decisions called into question, he already has won promotion for a club with far less reason to be in L1, and his fresh start will be yours.

    Hello, Lensois !

Seems we will have one of those "D2 Racings duels" once again. Racing Strasbourg vs Racing Lens, like in the good old times. Let's see it as some sort of eighties revival.

Sorry, but that's just not going to happen. There is no one in the dressing room with any respect for him and he is, like it or not, a bit part of the reason that standards have slipped so far and we're in the mess we are. Players turning up late for training with no punishments. Cliques in the dressing room. Not listening to team leaders when they approached JPP about these and other issues. No, I'm sorry, JPP must go.

And to say Leclercq was a mistake is a little mystifying as well. The mistake was bringing about this pseudo duo coach situation. Martel messed that up by not making it clear to the playing staff who was in charge. No, the mistake was bringing in Leclercq while NOT dismissing JPP.

I remind you, what did Nantes do when they descended? Did they keep a lot of the people who got them there around?

I can't believe I am saying this being a Lille supporter, but hopefully you guys we'll be back next year. I really enjoy our derby du nords. It's one of the most exciting derbys and for the sake of the French league, it is a must to help strengthen the league.

When the Nike sponsorship was lost I knew Reebok was going to do something ridiculous with our kits. That powder blue rag is pathetic!! Where is the White road kit?

Any thoughts on Gregory Vignal of Birmingham City who is on loan to us from Lens, he made his debut at left back against Man Utd yesterday, he looked quite solid and strong in the tackle.

Yes Vignal has always been a pretty solid player. With Lens though he was always being loaned out. However, most of the time he played for us he was always solid and dependable. Last year he had a couple of poor games which the fans got on him about but he did not really deserve that. Good player.

Glad to hear the news you got some justice for Kakuta. Shame that the compensation seems amazingly low for the talent he has. What do you think Lens were pushing for? I was thinking probably 2-3m Euros at a minimum.

and i'm glad to see an english fan who realizes this is a question of justice, and of the future of football as we know (and love) it. 99% of the reaction the other side of the channel seems to be limited to "PLATINI HATES ENGLAND!"

a lot of chelsea fans are even able to see a link between this and ovrebo!

You do know that the change kit is not always traditionally white correct? In fact I have a powder blue one produced by Nike. And I'm told the new Reebok change kit is quite popular at the club's stoor EmotionFoot.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Reebok template for it's teams but to say it doesn't represent Lens is a bit of a mystery to me.

As for Vignal, he was crap and made at least one huge error every game. Good Ligue 2 player.

Lensois, have you seen the new kits? They will play in them against Bordeaux tomorrow. I'm sorry but the blue kits look terrible this year. At least for me. I don't like when clubs radically diverge from their basic colors (in this case red and yellow). I think the white away kits with red and yellow are fantastic and it is sad they are not being used. I will admit that the alternate black kit was nice this year though rarely used.
