sounds like a cracking match! i snuck a win over Peters in our ODer a few weeks ago. had to play GFI to do so, and luckily got Silk out for a golden duck.

I won my FC easily this week

It would have been a cracking match if I had another remarkable bat or three. As it was, I was overmatched. :)

I won big. 2 more wins and I think I will have clinched a top 4 finish. I think I've already saved myself from automatically going down, but if I lose a few more I may have a playoff to stay up. Thankfull Olivier will be able to play in that if need be.

I think we'll know when it's gone through. I would expect some sort of front page announcement. You could always confirm with Og, though.

i see that he is asking for paragraphs on Sarge and Janes, so I think it is a done deal!

meanwhile, Olivier hit 96* falling just short of his maiden U19 OD century. He shouldn't have PFL issues for the last two sets of matches so here's hoping he can reach it!

From the department of "ugh", we missed enforcing the follow-on by one run. One stinking run. So my bats will be out there the rest of the day, since I didn't set a second innings declaration, and we'll wrap this up in day 3.

On target to get promoted in the One Day League. Mathematically, I just need one more win this season to clinch. :D

this is what I would call being in form!

Mapie is a rich vein of form right now in ODers. The last 4 OD matches for Mr. Mapie

    119* against Peters
    135* against Carib Beer
    41* against PLUSloggers
    145* against Ballard

16 point NRR to make up in 3 games to get a promotion playoff, wont happen unless he throws a game to stay down.

going to get demoted back to div V FC next season as well.

After playing my reserves for most of my First Class season, I threw about 6 or 7 starters into the mix for my game this week against the top of the league.

He isn't gonna be happy with me. I hit 300 or so, then bowled him out for less than 200 and then hit 400-0 and he has to get about 550 to win. I will beat him tomorrow for sure.

will have to win 1 of the next two and hope the loss doesn't completly ******** my run rate to not have a qualifier.

    Neill 4-0-16-0

so bellissimo says he may rest some guys next week due to PFL issues if he has a playoff.

do you think he realizes that if he wins out he won't have a playoff?

I won a nervy match against a front-loaded bowling attack (playing openers through) (nervy because their bowling attack made a loss a real danger, AND they would pip me for first with the win as they had and have a better NRR). I rolled out a somewhat reversed lineup, and once I got four batsmen (Sarge and Ritchie batting, Pook and Clairmonte behind them) through to the soft underbelly of the bowlers, the rest of the way was a formality.

I'm going to need to make up a bunch of NRR to get an automatic promotion, though.

Norse advanced one round in the BT20 knockouts (going through as a third place side) before getting thwacked today by Badlands. Like us, they have a playoff. Unlike us, they don't appear to care about their PFLs, as the wicket-taking bowlers have PFLs of fresh, lively, and invigorated.

    Playoff for ODL promotion tomorrow!

I might actually win a playoff match! We're at 78-0 midway through the 12th over, chasing 242-10 on a hard-and-fast pitch in sunny weather.
