    Guatemala 1 Haiti 0

Nice win Chapines! I really liked Contreras...he was too much for Hait. I hope you guys qualify since you guys have a really good coach in Kenton. Dont really see Haiti with any chance of qualifying to the semi's.

    Mexico 1 Canada 1
I really expected more from Mexico. Canada didn't seem to have much and Mexico could barely get a point scoring via penalty. They are still favorites to qualify, but USA, Honduras, or Panama will be dangerous teams in the semi-final.

The US beat Panama 1-0. They played better than against Cuba, but seem to lack the final pass. As long as they continue to improve through out the tournament they should make it to the finals.

Canada took a 1:0 lead, but based on what I read I think Haiti tied the game on a penalty kick and scored late to go up and win 2:1.

The second goal for Haiti was nice but the only reason they scored was due to their terrible sportsmanship. Canada knocked the ball out because one of their players was lying on the pitch and instead of turning over possession to Canada they went in for the goal.

you call Canada's players sportmanships? Canada was playing way too dirty today, i've never expected something like this from Canada man. they knock off Haiti's Best Striker Azor early out of the game. something like at the 18th minute with an elbow which made him spite out blood to his nose. damn Canada though sportmanship. but overall, Haiti was the better team tonight hands down.

If you believe that it is superb to not play the ball back to your opponent after it has been kicked to touch to attend to an injury, then yeah...it was a great goal.

On the whole Canada deserved to lose the game. Their play was shockingly bad in the second half. But, the stunt Haiti pulled on their first goal was shameful. If Canada had pulled $hit like that, I'd be embarrassed.

    Karma's a b!tch. I hope the Haitians understand that.

Twice Canada played the ball back to Haiti after it had been put to touch to attend to an injured Haitian.

When it came time to return the favour, Haiti ignored a well understood football convention to score their first goal. You simply can't justify it. It was pathetic, weak and shameful. You're right, Haiti was the better team overall. But, that doesn't make what they did any less pathetic.

Football convention even when all what the opposing team was doing was to try to kill the game by wasting time in order to keep their 1-0 lead? Was that also a football convention that we ignored?

Your players refused to play and instead all they wanted to do was to lay down on the field. Since when Canadian players were so weak?

By the way, Guatemala beat us with an offside goal and eventhough we played much better against Guatemala than you did against us last night, you did not see us coming here to try to take anything away from the Guatemalans. They won, that's soccer.

Crappy tactics (bunkering for the win) are a world of difference from acting like spoiled children. Haiti was the better team overall on the night. What they did on the tying goal lacked honour and showed an utter disrespect to the game. It was pathetic and not deserving of the justification you are giving it.

Read this next line carefully: I AM NOT SAYING THAT CANADA LOST BECAUSE OF THAT PLAY. CANADA LOST BECAUSE IT WAS WORSE

But, what Haiti did was $hitty and an embarrassment to the game. When a team kicks the ball to touch to attend to an injury, you return the ball to that team. Period. Even if you think that that player is diving--although the Canadian player on this play was punched in the neck, for God's sake.

Who sets the rules of the Game? If your answer is FIFA, go check what FIFA says on this issue.

I understand you are angry but we did absolutly nothing that violated a football rule.

No team has really impressed me so far, except for Guate's display vs. Mexico yest. In fact, I was getting ready to criticize Haiti's game-winning goal scorer yest.: up 'till the goal (and his beautiful assist) he probably was amongst the worst players I had ever seen. He did prove me wrong, though, so I will say no more.

c'mon you guys, that game was yesterday. Canadian fans should only be worrying about their team's match tomorrow with the chapines and same should be said about the Haitians fans and their team's match with Mexico.

I think it's funny that the current standings in group B have Guatemala & Haiti at the top spots when out of 50+ voters not one person (not even myself) voted that these two teams would even have a chance at making it out of the group......weird huh?

it was a great game by los chapines, contreras in the mid was the playmaker, he had one of his best games ever, Lalin in the back was solid, and the strikers did their job, but as a team kenton has those kids playing some great football, VAMOS GUATE what a win!!!

Are you kidding metro? I believe St-Preux was terrific last night. He does tend to keep the ball for too long. However, he is a dribbler and his job last night was to force canada's defense to commit fouls so that Sony, our fk specialist, could drill canada.

We actually expected Canada to commit lousy fouls on both Noel and St-Preux but, instead of that, they intelligently took out our real striker Azor Bridrecce right at the beginning of the match.

Like I said, he proved me wrong, so I have nothing to say against him.
But there were a number of instances where his decision-making left a lot to be desired. :)
