Very risky. I thought they would at least be required to start with 11 and a couple on the bench. This isn't AYSO

Is that counting the guy who was suspended?

If they played tomorrow, I could see an exception being made and allowing them to fly players in from Cuba. But tonight?

I think they would have 10 counting the suspension, then 11, when he comes back.

I lol'd cuz they dont even know the guys they are staying with. They just offered to help them out. They could be nice guys tho.

Reminds me of some of those payers from Cuba needing cleats for the last Gold Cup. Someone had to buy a pair for a couple of the guys, and still Mexico struggled against them

    Yeah I think that's right. Something like 19 registered - 1(no visa) - 5(first wave) - 1(suspended) - 2(second wave) = 10. And on 2 days rest. Ouch.

So assuming Honduras and Panama both beat Cuba, it's reasonable to project standings as:

    Honduras 2 0 0 6pts
    Panama 1 0 1 3pts
    US 0 1 0 1pt
    Cuba 0 1 2 1pt

with Honduras-US and Panama-US left. A Panama tie tonight could mean the US is pretty much out (barring goal differential).

Watch Cuba pull off some upsets instead.

(either way, US looks to be playing for 2nd place, maybe Hugo had us tie Canada so we wouldn't be 1st in our group)

    Hatians are dirty!

First some hatian elbows a canadian, then a canadian kicks teh ball out so that the fellow canadian can get some help. Well he gets up and the Hatians take the ball and score. Where is the Fair Play?

Guatemala is in first place no matter what.

So that means they are putting in the bench. They want revenge because of what Mexico did (or did not do) against Trinidad on the last day of WC qualifiers last time.

Since they got nothing to lose they could lose 5-0. What do they care they would still top the group.

I expect Mexico to need "un chingo de goles" tomorrow.

And guess what the best thing we do is. :p

    Que verguenza

Another thing that is amusing is what will happen between Honduras and the US today. Does one of the teams tank so they can get Guatemala? Or will they go for the win and take their chances with Haiti/Canada/Mexico?
