    Let's go local.

Hat Field (on the condition that every day is a Dollar Dog Day)
    The Hill (Turkey Hill)

If Yuengling was the sponsor, surely they'd call it Lord Chester's Field.

    Meet you at the 'Ling!

I don't know what that is, but it sounds like cigarettes. I'm not old enough to remember them, nor am I from Philly. It kind of sounded like a joke the way they said it on TV as well (in unison each time).

Re: How does everyone feel about the FSC guys' suggestion?

Agreed. Businessmen don't get into business to earn good samaritan awards. It has been, and always be first and foremost, about money. That's why the owners will do whatever they want to to maximize profits.

You can't expect them to not take advantage of those opportunities.

They were indeed cigarettes, and healthy ones to boot! Ed Sullivan even says so:

Chesterfields are good for your T Zone. That's T for throat and T for taste.

Read the ad carefully. It says they don't affect the nose, throat, or sinuses. Nothing about the lungs. :(

I bet after 22 years of smoking Chesterfield's, Ed Sullivan would've passed out trying to run from one end of the soccer field to the other.

    Nobody said they were smart.

MLS clubs especially need all the revenue they can generate. $20 million from a sponsor goes a long way to buying a good DP.
