This is in our favor the way I see it. Our beautiful NT is already screwed. This is just the first step in making things right. "Bolillio"...U kidding me? ********** him

Wow guys, I'm shocked to see such negativity against Bolillo, I mean yeah we had a bad Copa America with him [that 6-1 still hurts] but don't we always?, but he does know Ecuadorian futbol, and he does know how to coach, Ecuador in my opinion has a better team than the one we did when we qualified to Japan-Korea I wouldn't be afraid to take a chance with him. Sure there are great coaches out there but really would they even consider coaching us? I mean who? Passarella, Carpeggianni, Olmos? even if Chiriboga convinced them to be our coach They can't even name 3 of our teams in our league. Maybe Fossatti but he gets paid VERY WELL in Quattar, anyways all I'm saying is that Bolillo isn't a bad coach and he did make us play extremely well.

    ???

Bolillio was a patronizing, negative person.

What kind of motivation you think he instilled in our NT.

He's not a bad coach, he is just bad for Ecuador and Ecuador is bad for him.

There is a reason why the players don't want him back.

its no mystery that we have issues in the goalkeeping position...for the upcoming friendlies (FRANCE) should we give Rorys Aragon another shot? Its a wacky question because he was so ************ against USA and Mexico but as of recently he's been getting a lot of minutes and to my knowledge is the undisputed starter for Standard Leige....should we give him a second chance?

I think a friendly against Haiti is a good idea to start with Vizuete but I agree its probably just detrmental to the next game against France.

I actually agree. You can't really make good tactical changes while playing France for the 1st time and being down 4-0 after 30 minutes because we weren't sure of the formula.

this is supposed to be a softball game dude, its played in latacunga where he's from, on a fifa day. its set up to be an easy game, i'm kinda dissapointed. fef just didnt want to pay more money to get a higher profile team....

Pay money? Who are they supposed to pay money too?? It has more to do with the fact that every other high profile team already has a calender planned out for the year. There probably just wasn't anyone left that didn't already make their plans 3 months ago!

It has more to do with lack of organization than lack of money - once again! Useless, fuckers!!

Anyway, a good game to get things started!

I agree with you. It's cut throat out there and there is no time to pu$$yfoot. Beating Haiti will give our players a false sense of confidence. This is the time to be thrown in the lion's den.

Vizuete needs to see a more realistic play from opponents that will put ont the pressure. I hate to say this but we need to get our arses kicked by a super team in our next friendly. Otherwise, how do you suppose that Vizuete can get a clearer picture of what not to in order to develop a game plan for the WCQ. We do not have much time so we need all our friendlies to tough games. June is right around the corner.

What a stupid move from Chiriborga.

    Haiti?!

    Bad call Azzhole

Some are cutting azz cause we are playing Haiti. But lets not forget that Haiti was the ones that bought us back to earth when we qualified for our first WC in 2002.They beat us in the Gold Cup January 2002 2-0,,,Of course we dominated the game and missed about 5000 shots at gol,but they were the ones who got the W.En esos tiempos we though we were la mama de tarzan and Haiti taught us a little lesson.I would not take them to lightly.
Lets recall that Vizuete needs games like this para sacar conclusions.;)

I don't disagree with what you're saying but what if the 'conclusions' lead the DT in a different direction? I saw the Ecuador v Salvador match prior to WCQ and Ecuador looked like a machine. That game could've easily been 8-0. So what conclusions can one draw after such a match?

For the most part; chemistry, attitude, on-field communication and relationships. This helps develope a formation that is selected by picking the "best 11 players that work well together", not just the "best 11 players available".

    Call it a dress rehersal.

I gather you're right. But again, I'll reference the Salvador match. Some of the Ecua players risked being seriously injured in that match.
Haiti's football has evolved so maybe it'll be a tight match and a good test for your defenders as they'll need to be tested as well.
