I vote for New Trafford. If we have to have a corporate name, Blackwater USA Stadium. When United's not playing it can host gladitorial exhibitions.
Poplar Point Pitch Stadium of Might Anacostia Arena United Thunderdome (2 teams enter, 1 team leave) MacField
Depends on the lease agreement that's made out... If the city holds naming rights: Frederick Douglass Field If the team holds naming rights: DC United Stadium, until it becomes Verizon Field If the city holds naming, concession, and luxury suite rights, either: City of Greenbelt Stadium, or Eleanor Rooseveldt Stadium If _I_ held naming rights (and who says I don't): DC United Stadium or Poplar Point Park
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The name for the new stadium will be "Scrubbing Bubbles Flushable Toilet Wipes Field at Poplar Point."
The Bruce Arena in the House of Payne at Douglass Stadium at Poplar Point. Fans will know it as BAHPDSPP or "bop-disp" or, more informally, the Big Bopper.
A.M.F. Stadium, named after the mayor who was shot 25,000 times on the day of the first game. Coincidentally there were 25,000 tickets sold to that game.
