I know this is a little premature, but I figured that instead of talking about the different injury issues to kaka, pato, gattuso and our lack of a striker for this game in different threads, they would probably be better discussed jointly in a match thread... so here goes...

kaka- injured
pato- injured
ronaldo- injured
pippo- injured
gila- suspended

this does not help us much in our climb to the 4th place... and this is a pretty important game that we must win...

the positives are that we get to see paloschi play and probably gourcuff, but then again i say that every game and it just never happens so who knows.... if paloschi can repeat this, we may be alright...

that was an excellent goal, imo, for a debut performance from a 17 year old, controls with the outside of his foot, dealt with pressure from 3 defenders and slots the ball in the net... good technique...

I like how he held off his marker. Nice strength from a 17 year old. (although I think he turned 18 last week or something)

pippo and ronnie are back... so they will probably start...

however, i do hope that paloschi plays some part in the game.. gourcuff must start... if he wont start now, he never will...

I was thinking about it quite a bit, but computer repairs + busy schedule was keeping me off (although I have few other machines :) ), but here my thoughts:

Back four - whoever, because it's never perfect. One day is Kala, another Sandro. One day we lucky, another day we screwed up.
From there up:
-----------------------------Emerson-----------------------------------
------Ambro/Rino----------Pirlo (free)-----------------Gourcouff---------
------------------------------------Seedorf----------------------------
---------------Paloschi/Ronaldo(sub)------------------------------------

The key is to finally let Pirlo play. He was ********ing amazing for Italy. Cristiano who? The guy is dying in his current position. Remember Reggina game? Again, he was free to roam forward and only our sharpness in front of goal did not allow us to get to double digits (I mean it was 1:0, but we were fcking awesome for the biggest part of the game).
Maestro!!!, please!!!!!!

This is a very important game and we are in a bad spot with our injuries/suspensions, so I say we take a chance and play Gourcuff, Paloschi from the start.

Pato turned 18 back on Sept 2.

I had no idea Milan had the injury PLAGUE!
Screw bug, this is on macro-level.

I know Siena will be a tough nut to crack, but
I still think the Rossoneri will find a way.

My Prediction: 1-0 to Milan.

i wouldn't say he is "dying" in his current position, but watching pirlo play for italy, it should dispel any last remaining notions, to those who believe in the canard of him as a "failed #10," that he couldn't be moved and play more forward and do just fine. Of course, he did this just a few weeks ago versus reggina as well and produced a fine performance as you mentioned. I would like to know of one other national team (good national team) that has an outfield player stand head and shoulders above the rest of his teammates. italy lives and dies with pirlo right now, with how he has played for them, they have been living quite nicely.

If we win, we will be within 2 points of Fiorentina with one game ahead of everyone else. We really need this one and we need Ronaldo to step up big for us.

FORZA MILAN!!!

Seems Carlo wanted to put out the "old men" formation haha

Well the Janku Serginho combination is killing the Broc Cafu combination, maybe Yoan for Broc?

I think Janku is playing an absolute wonderful game.

Without Kaka, Pato, Seedorf and Gourcuff on the pitch, the only creative spark we can hope to get is from Pirlo. This midfield can't create shit right now. At least Serginho and Janks are putting some pressure on the left, and Cafu is doing ok too.

Yea well we should be one up but Inzaghi felt like shooting the ball into the keepers hands.....hmm?

Our defense is playing well except for that chance very early in the game, Kalac really hasn't had to do much.

Did anyone see Ronaldo try to slide tackle nearing the end of the 1st half haha :D
