    I really don't get how it's a europoser name.

    This is Philadelphia. It's a soccer/football club.

AC Philadelphia is a [silly] europoser name.

Why am I typing in proseline?

I don't understand the "Athletic Club", I always thought that ment that there wer more than one sport being played? Unless they partner with the Philadelphia Barrage I don't like the name, but it appears I'm too late.

I like Philly FC or Philadelphia FC and for the more American name I like the Philadelphia Independance.

I've always thought the name Philadelphia Athletic would be perfect for an MLS team in the city of brotherly love long before there were plans being driven by, among others, the Sons of Ben, to bring such a team there. Not only does it carry over from many other professional soccer clubs in other countries but it also gives a nod to the old Philadelphia A's of baseball's American League who, before moving west, were the most successful sports team in Philadelphia. So I'm going to continue hoping for Philadelphia Athletic.

And I also like the Light Blue and Gold colors as part of the Philly threads as well.

I know I am kind of late in making this post, however I was wondering why the AC or FC? I understand where the A's came from, but why not create our own? Or the FC as in every club not in the US? It would be easier to brand the team ourselves with the FC and although I like the sound of PFC, it just does not sit right with me.

Why not the Philadelphia Bens? our sponsor? Mercedes-Benz

really? bens? and you think thats better than a plain old FC? if anything i think its a "Ben" overkill with our whole SoB thing aswell...i do agree though that we should make our own history and not be AC and make something americanized...FC doesnt bother me and would be classy...SC is the sport we call it so adding that would be original...anywho....

    My Favorites
    Philadelphia Indepence FC/SC
    Philadelphia FC/SC "The Commodores"
    Philadelphia Athletic FC/SC

I do like Philadelphia Athletic, but not Athletic Club.

Also, I would rather have the blue be a dark blue, such as there neighbors to the south:

Ironic, because I hate Philadelphia Athletic, but would be okay with Philadelphia Athletic Club.

I really think a dangling adjective (without anything to modify) is very awkward in American English.

If we must go with blue, I'd rather it be dark blue. Either way: Bleh.

The battle of teams with terrible corporation names :p Man, I'm so glad I'm not a fan of NY. Even their team name sucks!

I'm not a fan of blue and gold either, unless it's a saturday afternoon in october, but in soccer it just don't really work.
Although I support Oldham Athletic and like the light blue uni's, I don't like that their other kit is completley differnet colors (orange and navy blue)

I'm a fan of having a neutral color in a teams uni (black, white or gray).

I really just don't see how they could NOT go with the colors we chose for Sons of Ben. Do they REALLY want to create all that work for us? That's a lot of crap to change. :D

King Kev isn't really doing much to make sure the Toons won't be down next season either.
