I would like to become a mod to:

    1. Take revenge on members of World Rivalries
    2. Filter out the mexicans
    3. Promote more threads about true soccer aka European club soccer and national team

BigSoccer Im sick and tired of the mess that has become of World Rivalries, Let me change, Let me help.

    I WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

    thank you.

I don't now how it works where you live, but how I became a mod all goes back two years to when I answered a knock on my door. It was Ed McMahon and the Publishers Clearinghouse Prize Patrol:

I was very excited to receive my giant check for two million dollars. Instead, Ed McMahon gave me a giant notice from Huss and dark knight and said "Heeeeere's Moddy!" Ed left and I was confused, so I went to log back into BigSoccer only to find out I was then a moderator. Suddenly my inbox for private messages was filled with people calling me a racist and a hater of free speech. Unfortunately because of my addiction to BigSoccer, I can't just walk away, and I've been here ever since.

    Damn you, Ed McMahon!

But again, I'm not sure how the process works in Italy.

Not sure (though I eagerly await the day ;)), though last year it was the end of January or early February, so we would be close.

For me, it was a very complex process. First they take your average BigSoccer people:

They then make you learn the "Secret Handshake"....

And then they make you a Mod......

    It was life-changing.......

In all seriousness, the process involves sending a PM to DK outlining qualities and characteristics which would make you a good mod, along with a statement about why you want to be a mod. This is after there is a determination reached that a particular forum needs a new/another moderator. Mods in forums related to the one in question are often asked for input on the specific person's application. These are weighed together and the person is applied or not.

Why did you have to go and bring seriousness into the equation? What this place lacks is a nice Jewish Moderator who has the genetic pattern that would make one successful in problem solving. I'm not volunteering, I'm just saying. However if you do want to clean up World Rivalries, I couldn't think of a better basta..person than myself.;):D

What about my countless contributions in calling you a cockmuncher? I thought it would at least deserve a mention.
You actually gave a serious response to someone whose second manifesto point is "Filter out the mexicans".

And here is a little known fact that my origins as a mod were not too dissimilar to the request being made by Davis, which a little annoying as he is such a "mis-informed" plastic tool.

Well, I figure that someone else who might 1) be interested and 2) be a viable candidate might also read the thread, so something serious was warranted. :)

It's our secret club. Saying that you do have that sadistic streak that is needed in the character of every mod. You must go into the forest and have a spiritual vision before you are ready to join our elite club of assholes.

You also need to be able to take a lot of crap. There were swears I never knew existed before I became a mod.
