Just a couple of opintions I am gonna share today as after watching last nights game I am very disapointed in the Cougars players and coaching staff.

Number 1 - We have a couple curses going on with this team. The Santos Curse and the record curse.

Santos Curse - The Sharks were 0-16 with him and are now 3-0 with him. Although we have lost 5 straight, we are 0-3 since we picked him up. Bernie you should have let Philly take him.

Record curse - We are 1-6 since the artcile about how good our defense is and Tovar has been nearly non existent since he was going to shoulder our scoring load. Record stop posting these articles. Focus on game summeries instead of feel good stories.

Our power play was a pitiful 0-5 last night in that game and the sharks coming in with one if not the worst power play scored I believe 2-3 times. Not gonna get things done.

Im having a hard time as a season ticket holder to even bring myself to the games anymore. Dont get me wrong I love indoor soccer I was a Knights season ticket holder for 6 years and have been a Cougar holder since day 1. I spent 500 on tickets 5 dollars a game for parking for 75 dollars and 20 dollars a game on water and snacks for the family thats 300 for a total of nearly 1000 dollars. What have I gotten back this year. A autograph cougar notebook. A team poster and a 3-5 record. With besides the Monterrey wins not very exciting games. Sure we have a Tony bobble head night coming up Feb 15th but you only get one if your a kid. So for my 3 tickets I might come away with 1 if I bring my 5 year old. Give me a freaking break COuagrs.

According to the article we had nearly 7000 last night more like 4500 if you were actually there. Then you figure maybe 200-300 are season ticket holders if that. So out of the 4200 other people there how many you think will actually come back after that a** whooping we got from the worst team in the league. NOT MANY!!

They got to turn things around quickly.

That's why you don't talk trash. Stay humble. I'm reminding myself as much as telling the rest of us.

Plus, with the cocked-up MISL playoff system, the Cougars are only like 3 wins from being crowned champions.

Like I said before I wasnt trash talking I was simply defending my team which I will continue to do. The trash came from Chicago fans and most recently wave fans. Period.

Both teams that can actually back it up on the field, unlike the cougars, who just lost two games in a row to Orlando.

FANS can't back up anything on the field. So they can talk trash, look ahead, etc. If the players and coaches are doing those things, though, that's a different story...

Look sorry to say Dave me supporting my team has nothing to do with how they are performing on the field if that was the case then they would be winning not losing. Give me a break.

Let me know if you consider this constructive. No one doubts your sincerity or your loyalty for your team; it's admirable, but it's really a zero-sum outcome trying to argue with someone that feels as fervently as you do about a different team.

Assigning blame implies passing responsibility over. I think you might get further if you admitted that some of your behavior catalyzed some really negative responses, learn from it, and support your team. Trying to prove, by infinite descent, that you behave better than Storm fans (as if Storm fans are some collectivist hive that share similar behaviors) is totally missing the point.

So, with regard to the ball: just because someone throws you the ball doesn't mean you have to catch it and start playing.

What you can do is take responsibility for your actions, instead of even now framing your answer as though you were merely the product of deterministic events.
