FA Cup Draw (5th round) Live on BBC2 and Sky Sports News. 1.30pm, Monday 28th January, 2008 1. Arsenal 2. Coventry City 3. Huddersfield Town 4. Bristol Rovers 5. Liverpool 6. Barnsley 7. Chelsea 8. Preston North End 9. Manchester United 10. Portsmouth 11. Southampton 12. Cardiff City 13. West Bromwich Albion 14. Middlesbrough 15. Sheffield United 16. Wolverhampton Wanderers Only 6 Prem teams left.. I am sure Chelcsea will get there usual joke of a cakewalk, as will Arsenal. Reckon it's either that, or we get drawn away to one of the other Big Four.
I wouldn't mind a 'top 4' team. The more we eliminate now the better chance we'll have of adding this trophy to the other two trophies this season.
I'd like to play Sheffield United. I kinda like the fight they have, and the fact they are in the bottom half of the championship
I'd love for the big 4 to meet with each other in the next round. We have players rested, have a relatively easy schedule, and if we win against a top team now, we'd be able to rest players in later stages of FA cup games when CL and Premiership games would be more important.
I'm hoping for Arsenal/Liverpool and Chelsea/Portsmouth... I could care less who we're drawn against. We've got to win a couple more matches to win the cup, be they against David or Goliath.
"...During a two-year period in which he played for Brimsdown Rovers' youth team, he was named Under-15 Player of the Year in 1990."
Again, you referring to my posts, just put me on your ignore list. And to answer your silly question, ask all the kids that play for our academy.
No real preference who we get in this. Got a bit bored with 'boro last season so would like to avoid them if possible.
What the hell? Was so blatantly obvious that we'd get another Premiership side, and Chelsea get away with another lower league side...
Way I see it we beat them, we will win it. Still, isn't this the same week as our first leg in France?
Yummy... what a cup tie... Villa, Spurs, Arsenal... if we beat Arsenal, we will get Chelsea and then Liverpool..
That's just ridiculous - I don't have too many complaints about us getting L'Arse as it is at Old Trafford, so it is a chance to knock one of the other main contenders out. But for Liverpool to draw a Championship side, and Chelsea a League One side - both home fixtures - is just flat-out wrong.
