Carlos Diaz on Trial at Blackpool

    He played NCAA ball at St. Mary's College in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005 and 2006, but did not play in 2007 because of a major knee injury suffered while playing summer ball for the PDL San Francisco Seals. He got a look on the U-20 National team in 2006.

    Very interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I vaguely remember Diaz's name from the U-20 pool a year or two ago. It will be gret if he can catch onto Blackpool's side. If I remember correctly they haven't do too bad as a promoted side. Pretty sweet he was noticed right off the bat and he's been training with the 1st teams. Good luck to Carlos, I hope he latches on.
