West Ham v. Liverpool (Jan. 29th) [R] is this the make up game from early in the season? either way - it's going to be tough to get a result the way we are playing right now.
Re: West Ham v. Liverpool Jan. 29th one game at a time -- we have How and Who at Anfield this Saturday
Re: West Ham v. Liverpool Jan. 29th Probably change the thread title as well. West Ham v. Liverpool [R]
---------------Reina Finnan-----JC------Sami-----JAR Pennant---SG ----Alonso-----Benayoun ----------Crouch --- Torres Istandje Lucas Kuyt Babel Skrtel
___________Reina___________ Finnan__Carra__Hyypia__Aurelio Pennant__SG____Xabi___Yossi ________Kuyt__Torres_______ Bench: Itandje, Skrtel, Masch, Kewell, Crouch Changes Reina in for Itandje. Carra in for the slightly shaky Skrtel who will need more match fitness. Aurelio in for Riise who continues to disappoint whenever he plays. SG and Xabi (if fit) in for Lucas and Masch respectively. If Xabi isnt fit then Masch stays in the XI and Lucas comes onto the bench. Kuyt in for Babel to support Torres who comes in for Crouch who was terrible against H & W.
I'm sorry but forget about the Premiership title, seriously you guys got more important things to worry about than the title honestly. The you guys are playing and the form West Ham are in, they will insert the final nail in your coffin. The way the season is progressing right now, Everton can only throw their 4th place away and Liverpool better pray that they do because they don't deserve to be playing Champions League football right now, if they can let a conference team lead them twice in the first half then i dread to know what Inter Milan will do to them next month.
Your team is playing at the JJB stadium; so consumed with anti-Liverpool hatred that you would rather not watch them, eh?
I know, I know but it's sometimes good fun to expose his infantile ramblings, every once in a while. But you're right, people may not notice the difference when you mud wrestle with pigs. Or should that be prigs?
Really looking forward to the game, normally liverpool have our number, but were playing really well and a with a few players coming back from injury and the way your playing,l like our chances,2-0 to the hammers, with bellend scoreing the first
Mate you should be grinning with confidence, Liverpool are a total £90million shambles of overpriced talents. No one fears them whether they are a Premiership or Conference team as long as West Ham defends properly and stay professional for 90 mins then they will roll over The Reds no problem. Adios amigo Rafa
You lot play good football and are entirely unfazed by so-called big teams (a Sky creation, more than anything else). A bit unlucky against Arsenal but you did the number on Man U very well. Normally good football between us. Here is to hoping for a repeat of the last 5
A team that will still lose to West Ham anyway, but knowing how stuborn Rafa is, he won't play that team anyway.
Re: West Ham v. Liverpool (Jan. 29th) [R] this is'nt the make up game, that's at anfield, i think in march.
You cant seriously want Riise in the team...again he was at fault for one of H&W's goals from being out of position (AGAIN!!! ). Another time...Pennant was at LB covering for Riise even though he had enough time to get back into defence. The back line is a team of 4 players and when Riise plays, it seems that it is only 3.
hehe A red card for this funboy, go check the espn forums guys, I think this is the same guy who just posts 20 crappy threads each day, he needs to get out more me thinks
Don't worry, he'll appear under another handle pretty soon. Like a phishing program, you can spot him easily enough.
We need goals and more goals. I'd not mind seeing a narrow midfield with Gerrard on the right, Kewell on the left and Benayoun behind Torres. Alonso and Mascherano would anchor the central midfield. Torres, Gerrard and Benayoun will give us goals. Kewell is also due a goal. Then we have goals on the bench with Crouch and Babel. So here goes. ---------------------------Reina--------------------- -Finann----------Carragher--------Hyypia-------Aurelio- ---------Gerrard------Alonso------Mascherano-----Kewell- ----------------Benayoun--------------------------- ----------------------------Torres-------------------- Subsitutes:- Itandje Skrtel Babel Leiva Crouch
Put it this way, we need support for Torres up front. The other starters up to now have been ordinary. Actually, interchanges between Kewell and Benyoun would provide that little extra unpredictability. The reality is that Benitez will probably start with Riise on the left
I think the H&W game showed that both Babel (because he can't pass to save his life) and Benayoun (because he knows how to put the ball in the net) should get more time at forward with Torres.
