That is a big win and the way they did it allowing only one goal to a fine Detroit offense is amazing.
It is great to see that this team has character after the bad loss they took from the Ignition last time they were here.
Danny Waltman is starting to look like he has our number.
In 3 games against the Storm this year he has allowed only 2 goals in each of the games.
The Storm defense has only alllowed 5 goals in the last 2 games and with Richey starting the last 2 games it is looking like he may be taking the lead as the strting keeper. It will be interesting to see who starts in Milwaukee because Richey allowed only 3 goals and made alot of great saves.

truly a great game from the STORM. Had total domination of the game, Richey was super and the team had so many scoring opportunities it would blow up the scoreboard if they put them all in. Final was 9-2 but if they woudl have finished as Detroit did in the FSC game last month then the final would have been about 21-2 for the STORM.

Watch out Vorberg...better get on witness protection or something cause were gonna light you up and beat you down!

It will come once Ughy gets back. What I like is we are getting this scoring chances with him not being able to play and when his post up presence returns , those chances will go in the net. He was upgraded from out to doubtful for this game,so that must mean he is getting close.
Still, the team is a very good 7-4 with him being out and still in first place.
One domiante offensive player can make a big difference in the team, look at what happened with Baltimore with Neto,he did not score tonight but his presence creates room for other players.

Ughy went through full warmups tonight before the game before being scratched...hopefully he plays in Milwaukee. Bollella lookes like he took a knock on his knee in the 3rd quarter hopefully he is ok.

They need to be careful with Ughy and wait until they're sure he's ready to bring him back.

Total domination is kinda gray...yeah, I guess they hit about 6 "posts" in the first half, but they also went about the first 26 minutes of the second half without recording a shot...I agree on the defensive side, but there were a lot of moments in the second half where this game was in question.

For sure, the team is 7-4 without him and will be in first place or within a game when the weekend is over,so there is no need right now to rush him back a game too soon.
