    This really underlines the need for the TFC academy - though we're looking at a 5-10 year timeframe before we see any meaningful impact from it.

    Well, I'm not Canadian and the only U-20 games I watched was a couple of US games. The name Lombardo just doesn't scream Canadian to me. Sorry for my ignorance.

    Don't worry about it. I'm sure many non-Canadians didn't realize Stalteri or Radzinski were Canadian when they first went to Europe.

    Even Radzinski himself has seemed unsure of it on a few occasions. ;)

    Well done. The only critique I have as your statement that, of the Canadians on TFC, only Brennan was a regular starter. Sutton (and the replacement keepers we used) were also Canadians who started. Well done, though.

    True enough! That said, it sure is nice to see a guy who played semi-pro in the CPSL for St. Catharines Roma Wolves and North York Rockets do as well as he has done!
