I was just watching this Sport Science episode where they were measuring reactions and hand-eye coordination by launching tennis balls at different athletes. Burpo was soooo close to winning! To be fair to Burpo, CJ had gloves on.

Burpo would have won hands down if Ocho Cinco didn't wear those receiver gloves. Those things feel like they have stick'em on them.
Wow! That is a great training method for keepers! I wonder if any hockey goalies were a part of that? I'd think they would fare VERY well in such a competition. What I loved about Burpo, as opposed to the others, is that all other players were sort of wide-eyed and leaned their bodies in the direction of the ball to aid in their concentration as it was coming toward them. Burpo just stood in one spot with a calm, focused expression on his face and just snared 'em as they fired in. He looked almost as though he was going to say, "yeah, Frank fires cans full of tennis balls at me all the time." I don't know how you found that, sko16, but thanks for posting it...very interesting.
I thought the same thing as you guys when I saw it. First, messed up that Burpo didn't get the same gloves. Also, I think Nabokov might have caught every single one.
