    FA Cup 4th Round
    Venue - Old Trafford
    Time - 14:00 (UK) 9:00 (EST)
TV - BBC 1 (UK), Setanta PPV/Premium (USA)

United have beaten Spurs on the last four occasions the two clubs have met.

Tottenham, however, have a better FA Cup head-to-head record against United and are enjoying this season's other cup competitions having already reached the Carling Cup final and the knock-out stages of the Uefa Cup.

Paul Scholes will not start, but may be on the substitutes bench if he comes through training successfully.

I already made my purchase and set the DVR to record. I will be enjoying this match in my bed after a full night's sleep.

Going down to the wire on this one, me and 30 people at a local bar have been thrown down 1500 bucks to buy the Setanta Premium equipment and this game, but it doesn't look like they're going to install in time.

    Gonna have to stream it....

Isn't the date on this wrong? On manutd.com it says we play Spurs on Sunday but Sunday's the 27th. Also, don't we have a prem game 3 days after this? If so this would be my team for this match.

    ---------------Rooney
    ---------------Anderson
    -Nani--------------------------Park
    --------Carrick-----Scholes
Evra-------------------------Simpson(Brown will start anyway we all know it)
    --------Vidic----------Rio
    ---------------VDS

The likelihood of this being played is very slim, but a man could dream right? I'm itching to see Anderson start in his natural role again and I'm itching to see Scholes come back. Looks like I need some medicated cream for those itches.

F**k me, my bad. Still a tad hungover  . Mods?

Like that team you threw out there, we have to get the right balance between beating a Spurs team coming off that big win and the Prem game in a few days. However, Scholes really won't start. Fergie has equivocally said so. So expect either Anderson/Hargreaves or Anderson/Carrick, with Roo and Carlitos up top.

I’m still unsure why this game was moved to Sunday, considering we have a game Wednesday and then Saturday against Spurs again. Either way, I expect a good, solid, convincing home win. Would have liked to sleep in a bit on Sunday, but I guess that isn’t really an option now.

    2-0 good guys

Oh in that case I want Anderson in the middle with Carrick. I really don't want Tevez burned out, Rooney needs to gather some scoring momentum so he starts.

I think this game is going to be really open and exciting I'll go with an ened to end 3-2 United win with Berbatov scoring two and then scoring two against spurs next week at White Heart Lane :D

I believe so - you pay 25? bucks for the game through dish. If your bar carries Setanta Premium, then it costs 20 bucks to get in, wherever your bar is.

Just watched the pre-match press conference. Fergie had the raccoon look. He picked up a sunburn in Saudi, but was apparently wearing sunglasses.... Has those nice white circles around the eyes.

As for Scholes, he said he "might" be on the bench, but did not expect him to play. He said we could expect to see him Wednesday against Portsmouth.

He also said Anderson was back from Brazil. Apparently he missed the Reading match due to a domestic problem back home.

You better not play your 'kids' or you might be in for it ;)

    I kid, I kid :)

Should be a good one though. I hope we dont concede too many goals.

Lucky. I was on the Setanta website last week cuz we're trying to get that equipment for our bar - they have pre-printed entry sheets you can get from their website for either 10 dollar or 20 dollar entry. Didn't realize it was completely standardized by them.

From what the schedule looks like, they are gonna get the juiciest FA Cup games for a while to come no..

$15.95 per game on Dish Network.

They used to have the option of buying the whole FA Cup pkg, all the games, for $100. Wish they still had that.

Yeah, FA cup PPV's were $10 at Nevadas today. A lot more reasonable than the 20 it used to be.

i feel this game is going to be really competitive, and real close, tottenham coming form 5-1 win against their arch rival , and us playing well and on a streak, i believe fergie we ll put out a mixed side, not the first eleven, at the back its going to be the same back four that we had all season , the midfield will be carrick and fltecher , the wings will be , nani and park , and up top rooney and tevez, i believe if we attack them on the flanks we can really hurt them , and not to forget , i think they will pressure us the whole game , that is why we are going to counter attacking the whole time with rooney tevez and nani, this game will end in a 4-3 win for united with rooney scoring a double and tevez too , and for spurs berba two and malbranque one. peace

Anyone want to volunteer sticking some sedatives..those appropiate for a horse would do fine..into Berbatov's pre-match dinner?

He is the only player I fear on the Spurs side...:)

With 3 games really close together I'm worried, especially without a fit Saha and Anderson having travelled quite a bit.

I think if we rest players it will be against Pompey. I expect Giggs to play from the start with Nani/Park off the bench.

Nani, Park, Scholes, Giggs and Anderson for various reasons should all see limited amounts of action the three upcoming matches...

Anderson for having travelled and being just a yute, Giggs age, Scholes fitness/age. Park and Nani due to their status as bench players.

I'd love for either Tevez or Rooney to get a game or a half off somewhere, but I don't see it happening. :(

I'll tell you what: If someone fires a tranquilizer at Berbs, then Ronaldo deserves one as well. I get panic attacks anytime he's in possession of the ball in a match against Spurs

An eye for an eye, ya know :D
