Hey guys, i got a PM from member NYC_Cosmos who's argentine, and suggested this chant that they use against boca, but with some of the words changed up to be against the red bulls which goes to the beat of a song from the big Latin American group La Mosca, What do you guys think? I think its pretty bad ass, and would give that even more Feel of south american Gritty Barra Brava feel. Like their world reknown "Borrachos del Tablon" Barra they got down there. Look at the Youtube video and you'd have to be going at that beat and that speed. What do you guys think? Too hard for the non spanish speakers? Maybe with some practice? Also im on the look out for a chant specificially for Marcelo Gallardo IFFF he does indeed end up with us.
if we could teach half that many words in English, let alone Spanish we would have adapted Sos Cagnon by now.
Typical Srdan... dismisses any idea that would require the smallest amount of effort. Why don't you reach down and apply yourself for your team... Geez.
Hahahaha His response is hilarious. But i dunno, this chant would be HELLA badass! Throw in some red flares and smoke bombs and were' Golden
no comprende espanol amigo you want me to run it through babelfish? My theory is that I listen to so much spanish every day i'll eventually just learn it by accident
Even doing that might not help . . . Decime Network Bull! That passage with the Meters! That they did not have eggs! And they gave them by atras! All those fat people! That they occur it of lady's men! The Austrians arrived! And they were for atras! Ay Meter that verguenza! It was all a surprise! They left them without name! They cried without stopping! For that reason vos sos cagon! Redbull already I dominate them! The Austrian gave return them! The meter already murio!
Decime Red Bull!! tell me redbull Que paso con los Metros!! what happened with the metros? Que no tuvieron huevos!! they didnt have any balls Y les dieron por atras!!! they got it in the ass Todos esos gordos!! all the roughnecks (esc) Que se la dan de guapos!! that thought they were so tough Llegaron los austriacos!! when the austrians came Y fueron para atras!!! they stepped back Ay Metro que verguenza!! Metro what a shame Fue todo una sorpresa!! it was a surprise to you Los dejaron sin nombre!! they left you with out a name Lloraron sin parar!!! you cried without stopping Por eso vos sos un cagon!! thats why you are a coward Redbull ya los domino!! redbull owns you Los austriaco los dieron vuelta!! the austrians flipped you guys El metro ya murio!!!! the metros have died. i think that the most literal translation that I can give thats going to preserver the orignal meaning. it incorporates some argentine vernacular and if anyone else can do a better job of translating it to pass along the meaning please by all means go ahead.
Well Srdan, that would take one big badass banner for the lyrics. Maybe Blondie could help you with it! GM
WE could make a crucial intimidating song to Angel and any spanish speaking player on RBNY if we can do this right. I say lets try this out. With some practice and some Red Flares we can do it up real big. There is worst songs in out there towards other teams(chico ) in my country. IMO this song is badass, if we can change it up more to be like our fans and around us. But right now i have no suggestions as i am about to go out on a friday night. But with that said, spanish speakers tweak this lyrics towards our rivalry.
most of the barra gringos can't even sing the "la barra brava, la barra ********" chant without screwing it up, I'm positive this chant will never work, be it badass or not
And in addition to the many outstanding benefits of membership...there will be free SSL classes for gringos at tailgate. There were a bunch of new song ideas floating around before playoffs last season but I guess there was no time to learn them...so now there's time? What better motivation is there, besides free beer, than offending RBNY? I think it could be done.
I thought about that but it would mess up the rhythm of the song. Now if someone can pull it off and make it work I dont see why not. But I really believe that the beauty of the song is its length, add numbers to that and you have a loud ass message. Also I've noticed that chants tend to die out quicker when they shorter.
Uh, this stanza implies that the Metrobulls had/have fans/roughnecks - and we all know this isn't true.
