Can someone clear up something for me? I know theirs the EPL but where does Celtic and SPL and all those other leagues play in with EPL? Do they play each other, are they all one league just sepereted in divison, etc?
and whats Lisbon and St. Pauli in regards to Celtic FC?

    Thanks.

the spl and the epl are totally seperate leagues. there has been talk of celtic and rangers leaving the spl and going to play in england however, which would be good, the spl would actually be an exciting league then

Yeah, on one hand it would be good, because the SPL would be more exciting and Celtic and the Rangers would have more equivalent opponents, but as I like to watch Celtic in Champions League, it´s definitely better to have them in SPL! As alexp92 mentioned, EPL and SPL are like MLS and La Primera División de México...completely seperated leagues! FC St. Pauli is a German football club in the 2. Bundesliga (maybe compareable to your USL First Division, but teams get promoted to 1. Bundesliga or relegated to Regionalliga). Celtic and St. Pauli are partner-clubs! Lisbon is a city in Portugal (most famous football club is Benfica) and Celtic won the European Cup against Inter Milan (2-1) there in 1967 (they were the first British club to win this competition)!

libson is where celtic won the world cup back in 1966, and they won it with a team of pensioners all of which were actually BORN in the stadium.

and to elaborate on Gaboo's point ...

FC St. Pauli is located in the town's red light district, but more importantly became one of the first (if not THE first) clubs in Germany to take a stand against sexism, racism, and fascism.

    ... called the "Reeperbahn".

That might be the reason that the away sector at Millerntor stadium is always sold out! :D
