I'm gonna miss Addlery a lot, I think he could have developed into a great player for United, he just wasn't given enough time. Oh well! Good Luck in Vancouver guys!

By guys, they are A-League level talent so best of luck to them in a league that more suits their skill level.

Agree with Shawn. Addlery wiffed twice on near sitters against Chicago, which could have made a big difference.

depends what angle you saw the play from falc... I know exactly which instance in one of the cases... almost got a toe on it at the post, but it was out of his reach.

however I'm sure Addlery doesn't nor will ever have the skill level we want, his best stuff was playing hard, playing big, and one game-winning goal. good luck to them both.

And the team's play improved substantially the second he subbed on for Emilio. While he should have finished the chances, let's not forget that it was him entering the match that gave DC any glimmer of hope that it had.

Addlery and Nolly may well prove to be players that are too good for USL/A-League, but not quite good enough for MLS.

Vancouver's a good spot for them though, with Seattle moving up, they'll have plenty of opportunities to try and impress the Sounders' front office and maybe get another crack at MLS in 09.

Best of luck to them both.

Well it's not that harsh. I mean, read it. It says he 'could care less' which of course implies that he cares some, as there is room for him to care less. So he cares some and that's a nice thing to say.

I hate to see Adderly go too, he wasn't given a full chance. We know what happened last time we let someone go without giving them a full shot (Filomeno anyone?)

Not saying Addelry is on the same level, but you never know.

Yes, addlery was let go kinda early with not much to show as in playing time, but regardless we are now full for this year as far as forwards go. He would be our 5th. We dont need him right now, and he's better off trying his luck at a USL squad where he could def. crack a starting 11 spot, where as for us not even close.

    GL Addlery and Nolly!
