New thread to discuss what supporter scarves might become. Cauldron leadership is the one running this thing and making the final call but is soliciting opinions for the moment. Final sales details will come later as to how they might sell to all supporters groups or if they'll keep it internal. If so this will be moved to the Supporters sub forum.

    Civil discussion only please.

I'm using the Wizards actual PMS colors. I can send you the actual CMYK values if you need it.

The first designs I did are in RGB, and the latest I posted are CMYK. So they look a little different. But they are the same PMS color.

My G5 is calibrated for a specific kind of press, mine are a pinch dark onscreen if you are viewing on a PC monitor. I love the fire coming out of the U in cauldron. Slick looking stuff........

My only criticism is the text. It looks so...unessecarly futuristic.

    But what do I know.

Just a suggestion since I am swamped, why not try using the checkered patteren as a wrap all the way around On side A and scrap the "blue army" thing.

I don't think the blue army exists outside of chants anyway.

    P.S. shouldn't it be " 'til I die" ?

Scarves and logos like these and I might just join the Cauldron.

one can be the side of another. So you could have A on one side and B on another.

I'm not sure, that as a new fan, if I'm even going to join the Cauldron, but I would without a doubt buy one of these scarves with A and B regardless. Amazing.

what if we took off blue army on A? and by 'we' i mean 'you.' It would make it more cohesive with B and less cluttered if it was made into one scarf.

    just my opinion.

Keep your eyes open. Once we finalize the design and get them ordered, it will take about 6 weeks. Once we receive them, they will be available on our web site as well as in person. Most likely, we will put the design on the web site prior to having received the scarves so people can pre-order...then we can ship the moment we receive them.

Ok - some thoughts... perhaps I'm the only idiot in the group, but when I read the years on the end of B I read "60 | 80" and thought... 'huh?' Ohhhh, 08 | 09... right.

Unfortunately there probably isn't much room to make that show '08 | '09 or something, ("2008-09"?) And not everyone is as stupid as I am... so they'll probably not have an issue with it in the end.

I really like the "CAB" portion - it makes it feel 'limited edition, for two years only - be a part of history' a little... like in 30 years these will be highly sought after... Maybe I'm thinking a bit too much into that as well - but.. yea.

I'm going to throw out the fact that I like shadow drops.. alot. If it worked out to put a shadow behind Kansas City or whatnot... I might just buy two ;)

Are those two different colors above and below "Cauldron"? It works better with the wider stripe on the bottom with C, on A it looks a little bit weird to me.

I suppose using Gothic capitals would be a bit too heavy for a scarf? I think it wouldn't go well with this particular lettering (which I do like due to it's clean and crisp nature), but I will also say I really like the gothic capital 'C'... perhaps on a T-Shirt or something (or never)

Hrm - back to the design at hand and along the lines of lettering/fonts... I wouldn't mind more 'connection' between the vertical line in the K and the angled portion.

That's all I can think of...

When wearing the scarf the 08/09 will be facing down, since its on the end...unless you find a way to defy gravity with the scarf. Now that's a scarf I would definitely buy.
