If you are a decent man, husband, father and person, you have to realize that your days as a player of soccer are over and, that you only are affecting the team for the worst instead of helping, ... please, get out and I promise that all of us here will love ya for that...

I swore I read something like this before...

Do we really need another "Reyna out!" thread?

Let's hope Claudio is healthy and motivated to prove Metz and a lot of us wrong.
That being said lets hope he finds the "Balco fountain of youth" this off season.....

all this would be a non-issue if mls didn't count american players as DP's.

that and giving us the same broad strokes of interpretation of the MLS cap rules that LA gets.

    Optimizer, seriously.

Stop **********footing, go to a public place and just scream "Reyna 'til I die" a hundred times and get it over with.

Sorry you will be SOL, reyna will be too busy recuperating from his latest bout of hangnail, paper cut, turf toe, headache or hamstring pull.

Metz did Reyna shoot your dog? You really have to realize that Reyna is not going anywhere and start hoping that he starts showing some signs of the Reyna that was Captian America. I also think with a full off season to try and get healthy maybe Captain America can return.

    There's only one Claudio Reyna!
    There's only one Caludio Reyna!
    He never plays!
    But The Red Bull pays!
Reyna is a f*cking welfare queen!

The Pesimist in me says- That i hate to see players tarish their reputations and good names by hanging on too late in their career. Reyna has a solid set of skills but his injury history and his declining ability is a total albatros around this team's neck right now. The chances of him making a difference next year and stayin health as well are soooo low.

The optimist in me says- He did play a lot more games last year than i initialy thought he would and was played in a position that did't suit him. The only chance he can succeed will come as the holding mid in a 3-5-2 which Osorio is looking to inpliment. So i have higher that usual confidence Reyna will be better in 08.

Either way, Osorio has stated under no uncertain terms he is here to win and will do whatever it takes to achieve that and that includes dealing with dead weight on the roster.

Yes, he would be doing right by his family by walking away from his salary because some internet yahoo with nothing better to do than start idiotic threads said so. That would be sound reasoning on his part.

    He is.

He's never had off-season rest like this before, and will prove why he's the best midfielder this country's yet produced.

No my dog, but he is killing the hope of the team to win something this year too.... In the beginning was Ramos, he screw us good, and for him we start like a shiiiiit and steel with out a Dem trophy of something to show and now Reyna, I have enough of that shit...

One bad season does not constituted him being a complete failure. Now that being said if he does not have a good season this coming year then he is a failure. In the end we are stuck with him for the good or the bad LIVE WITH IT!

Maybe he just needed one year to get used to the physicality and quality of the MLS, which he probably underestimated like a lot of overseas guys have done in the past.

Did I hit a nerve to warrant this response? Will I be barred from going to games if I don't?
