I mentioned this in the logo thread, but I think, with Soda's permission, one of his designs that he did as logo mock ups would do well as a logo for the section, for banners, t-shirts, scarves, etc.

Here are the two sets of mock ups he made. Can we all agree on one that would be a good idea for the logo? I think A or D, with the banner saying 'Til I Die, would go with the theme from the scarves we have.

I've been PM'ing with him about mod'ing a few of them to try out as Cauldron logos. My preference is a, b, d or e.

I Am For "a" Or "d" But On The Shirts I Dont Like The Names Of Team Sponser (yellow Or Sprint). "til I Die" Banner Instead Would Be Better.

The only thing that I don't like about "e" is the "96" and then putting 1996 on top.... Why do we need to say it twice...

THEN PUT THE "TIL I DIE" BANNER AT THE BOTTOM...THAT WOULD LOOK COOL!!

My first thought was, "Good, new stuff to look at". Then it was, "Hate the grey one", "'til I die" sounds forced and juvinile", and "what's with the Lowenbrau lion?!?". Then it was, "Oh, it's a dragon. Well, that's better than a lion, I guess. I like the backshadow on the jersey." Can a cool looking Wizard not be made in the same mold?" It is our name. On all of them I might at least play with the dragon design to update it somehow.

From set 1: D and F are outstanding. C might be good with a different top. I love the contrast of the three blues in F. I like F more single every time I see it. Especially good is the subtle 96 in the background, which is exactly where it should be if included at all.

From set 2: D is the best of a bad bunch.

    Good efforts certainly!

Nice job Kevin, but personally I think our logo shouldn't just be the team logo with Cauldron replacing Wizards.

it would make a cool sticker. i'd like to see more bumperstickers on the backs of cars and tagged up at soccer fields around the metro. something simple and highly visible.

Yeah, I wasnt thinking of it being our main logo or anything (mainly I was solving my own curiosity of what it would look like). But I think it could be a cool secondary logo, or as FRYE! said something cool to put on stickers or small print items when a more detailed logo wont show up as well.

I did a quick vector version of that a few months ago for a thread in here that can be sized to any scale. PM me if anyone wants it.

Honestly, I don't care for the lions, but if you took the lions out, I'd like Set One, B.

(I would actually hope that management would beg us to let them use it as the actual logo, because that one KILLS our current one. :D)

I wouldn't want an animal at all. The Wizards logo changed to read Cauldron is pretty cool if you ask me. We don't need anything fancy.

    Piss off! :D

I dont really like the ones with the dragon (for the team yeah, for us not so much), and I like using the phrases "til I die" and "ad astra per aspera".

So, some combination of A3, minus the dragon, with the two phrases on the banners or d2 with both banners.
