that sucks. I'm hoping I can keep the pace I'm at up for the entire innings. End of Over 20: 136-1, runrate=6.80 Nomvete 5-0-34-0 Mapie* 55 (48 balls) Conroy 65 (64 balls) Last Wicket: Harris c. Ungapake b. Gibb 11 (FOW: 26/1)
that sucks kopite, i hate matches like that. losing in the last over! Mapie is now gone, wish he would've stuck around to get a century. oh well, hope my batsmen can keep plowing away and don't give up too many more wickets! End of Over 25: 176-2, runrate=7.04 Gowshall 3-0-23-1 Conroy* 74 (76 balls) Spearitt 0 (3 balls) Last Wicket: Mapie c. Mckinlay b. Gowshall 82 (FOW: 176/2)
I would call this a good total. I better be able to defend it! End of Over 50: 360-3, runrate=7.20 Gowshall 10-0-85-2 Conroy* 181 (149 balls) Black 10 (7 balls) Last Wicket: Spearitt c. Mckinlay b. Gowshall 65 (FOW: 340/3)
I think I'm going to win this one!! End of Over 14: 50-7, runrate=3.57, reqrunrate=8.64 (360-3) Wild 2-1-5-1 Mckinlay* 29 (22 balls) Gibb 3 (3 balls) Last Wicket: Gowshall c. Coleman b. Wild 1 (FOW: 46/7)
wow, that is an ass whooping! And that's the end of the match. Cook County Cricket Club won by 303 runs. Cook County Cricket Club 360-3 Tythe Barn CC 57-10
Since being bowled for 1 by Doctors on 11/02 my batsmen Jack Conroy has been on fire in both forms of the game. his scores: FC - 172 OD - 16* (dropped him to 5th to let some other batsmen have a knock) FC - 210* OD - 181* hope it continues, although he'll probably be out for a duck against Norse next week.
Love how Doobies just discovered this week that they actually can't get away with playing Janes and Poutney in every match... I'm going to try to get away with running out an understrength lineup against Jess Battlers in FC again (it worked fine the last time we played), which will hopefully help me get back some PFL in my squad. It'll also let me get back to OD play, which I've slacked on the last couple of weeks thanks to the huge FC matches with Peters.
na, it is working for me (this reply might be a bit delayed from when you were having problems though)
wish I could've restricted them to a lower total. oh well, bats are getting it done. End of Over 36 (9 runs). Cook County Cricket Club: 227-1, runrate=6.31 Lead by 21 runs. (curzon cc 206-10) Kananelo 3-0-21-0 Harris* 120 (127 balls) Mapie 101 (89 balls) Last Wicket: Black b. Ambrose 0 (FOW: 0/1)
bowled them out for 70ish on day 1, declared @ 3-370ish, they are 6 wickets down & 52 runs behind me, should wrap it up early tomorrow to stay undefeated. this team held me to a draw at home last fixture. glad i am in a div V league, next season will be a massive FC test if i do get promoted.
Won by an innings and 129 runs with a somewhat scaled-back lineup. Hopefully, the fast win will also result in minimal PFL hits... only two bowlers went over ten overs in either innings.
won by an innings in FC as well. right now I'm this against Norse.... End of Over 33: 178-2, runrate=5.39 Liddel 10-0-47-1 Conroy* 87 (91 balls) Spearitt 37 (56 balls) Last Wicket: Mapie c. Steele b. Liddel 49 (FOW: 95/2) I wish Harris had stuck around and Mapie was still in.
don't think the total is going to be high enough... End of Over 43: 242-6, runrate=5.63 Morrell 7-0-48-2 Black* 25 (13 balls) Wild 5 (3 balls) Last Wicket: Gardner b. Morrell 2 (FOW: 236/6)
again my bowlers are sucking it up. not going to win this one.. End of Over 8: 38-0, runrate=4.75, reqrunrate=5.45 (266-10) Coetzer 4-1-23-0 Seargeant* 24 (19 balls) Clairmonte 14 (29 balls)
got the run rate down and took some wickets, but Sarge is still in and that is troublesome. Plus, Morrell is no pushover either. i think Norse will take this one. End of Over 40: 196-4, runrate=4.90, reqrunrate=7.10 (266-10) Wild 10-1-32-2 Morrell* 18 (31 balls) Seargeant 110 (87 balls) Last Wicket: Pook lbw b. Wild 11 (FOW: 171/4)
well, i was wrong. should hopefully wrap this up shortly. both sides suffered the infamous BT collapse. need only two wickets and over 40 runs are needed from the last 5 overs for Norse to win.
a 40 run win! my collapes was 60 runs for the loss of 7 wickets Norse's collapse was around 30 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. both of those start at around the 39th over.
