There is ppl bitching on other threads about a upside down american flag flown at the game. I saw it on ABC and though it was alcohol induced. Does anybody knows otherwise. If this is being talk about already. MERGE PLEASE.
I didn't notice it, but I'm sure it wasn't pre-meditated. We'often will put two flags together...but never have we held the stars n stripes upside down. Close topic please...

It was an accident. It's the same Six Flags one we have at our games. NE fans are just bitter and looking for something to talk about besides how crappy their team is. I can't believe you started a thread on this.
Aaaahhhh. It was the Revs complaining. I'll give them a pass then, since I certainly won't give them a Cup!
couple years ago we ended their season prematurely so we put up a nice 50 footer with "Revs, enjoy your early vacation" and next day there was threads about classless Barra So that's your source (I was pretty drunk but flag seemed right side up when he had it in front of our section, maybe it got tangled)
Here is the picture they are talking about: This is our "7 flags over Texas" banner/flag, and it is folded over. My guess is we were unfolding it as the picture was taken. Hopefully this can be locked now.
The Revs crest makes more of a mockery of our U.S. Flag than anything else we could do. Jeez. Boston folks should be more resilient.
i was behind him.. and told him to remove the flag once i noticed it.. but i did not notice it until it was too late..since it was behind him i did not see the US flag in time.. it was human error by a non american not realizing it was upside down and did not know the meaning of it..
I guess we can close this thread. I was just curious. I figured it was a mistake but wanted to make sure.
