Soo I am sitting here waiting for the draw/picks show to come on for the women's NCAA Div 1 tourney. It's on tv in an hour, and I've been anxiously waiting since the Niners beat Fordham yesterday to see who they will play, and where!

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

On a nother note, my birthday is 2 weeks from today :)

I don't really see it as that good of an idea. I mean, maybe a new venture in Seattle might spark interest in sports.. but statistically, the Sonics have been amongst the worst attendance in the NBA the past 4 or 5 seasons at least, and that's why they're on the move soon. The Mariners, aside from 3 top years of attendance(the Ichiro craze), attendance has progressively declined since to the point they're just barely above average amongst other teams in the MLB. Even the Seahawks, who are typically in contention year after year for a playoff spot(because of one of the worst divisions in football), aren't in the top half of attendance leaders.

Reading's stadium smelled of poo. I'm not even joking. Shithole would be an understatement. Randomly saw my mate I hadn't seen for years in there as well...quality! Took some pics, will post later. 2nd from back row :(

Yeah, Rick persuaded me. I wanted to stay home and watch it so bad but I literally can't say no to Arsenal.

Adebayor banging the post with that first shot just about ripped my beating heart out. It's kinda bittersweet to defeat Marcus Hahneman since he is a local (Seattleite) but when it's the Arse I'll make an exception. :)

Oh man! I love your keeper, too! Timmy is top-notch! There are so many Yank keepers in the Prem and two are from Seattle!

I just keep following this thread because I don't have enough time to talk Arse and then mod my own forum (which is going nutso). Skizz, can you pm me a running Arsenal thread that would be more appropriate?

Best thing to do is just drop by the stickied match thread in the Arse forum, that talks all things Arsenal about the next match.

no that would make too much sense

i say shut down the league for a while, then ban them from europe for at least as long as they did to the english

Now THAT would make sense. Will never happen though.

nothing will happen, they'll use the euro break to let things cool down, then they'll go right back at it

I just got back from Spain where I saw two matches at the Camp Nou and one at the Bernabeau and this morning I put a deposit down for 6 season tickets in Seattle. Life is good...

SO I wrote my last ever physics paper today!!

I had my phone in my school bag in the front of the class - but I forgot to put it on silent. Halfway through the exam, my phone starts beeping because I had gotten a text message.

After the exam I checked the message - "The new South Africa football shirt and African Nation's Cup ball is NOW available at sports shops nationwide."

Yes!! I'm off to buy one asap!!:)
