Just a reminder that if you want to get tix with the Texian Army to goto www.texianarmy.org/shop and get them for $35 each. Tickets will be distributed at the special tailgate (see map on order page) given by Art Vandaley and mabeuf. Deadline to buy tickets through us is Monday night.

The couple behind me that have season tickets will be there, and the family of four in front of me just emailed me that they got tickets today. And the couple next to me might be going to. None of them ever go to BigSoccer (though I tell them they should.) Today I went to the Apple Store in Sugar Land and a guy that works there saw my Dynamo shirt (I had my orange on my back--hey!) and he asked if I'd been to the game last night. He said he couldn't go because he had to close the store but that he has tickets for the Cup in DC. I'll bet there's gonna be a ton of orange up there!!!

Hey, we're going but I haven't bought the tickets yet because I've changed e-mails. so if my PayPal thing don't work, can I give you my credit card info and get a couple of them game tickets? I'll most likely book a flight because a couldn't convince the B&C into driving up there.

Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? Just curious... does Houston ISD or any of the other local school districts have Thanksgiving week off, and not just the Thurs/Friday? I work at the school district where I live, and for some reason they gave the entire week off this year (they've been building in more off-days since the 2004 Hurricane Season threw the schools all out of whack). This, of course, made it easy for me to take off and do this little shindig. It would be cool if the area schools had the entire week off, and it would enable more families to take a snap vacation to DC.

Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? I'm not sure about Houston, but the people in front of me go live in Clear Lake and they're off for the week. Houston and most schools around here are usually off all week, but we (East Bernard) have never had more than 3 days off. This year by law all schools had to start much later, near the end of August, so I would think a lot of schools lost their week long Thanksgiving.
