Here are a few ideas of scarves that Ruffneckwear.com came up with.

There should be a total of 8, I would like this to be a speedy process, and collect a total number of people who are interisted. They will go for $15.00 and could add money into the treasury. Our order will be the very least of 150 scarves.

Please vote and and in your post say what design you choose. We are going to change Stand Against Apathy to Centennial Firm, so when you see it on the design-imagine Centennial Firm there instead. [Or we can come up with another phrase and have them insert it on there, but this is where the feedback part comes into play]

    Thanks...

IF those are the only choices then I would say #2

However.... since we have the C-firm logo on the ends, I like the ONE TEAM,ONE PASSION but the other side I think should say STANDING FIRM and not CENTENNIAL FIRM. It is already known who we are.

And they should be in BOLD solid Black (maybe with a thin white outline) As it is now the white will get lost while viewing at a distance.

Biggest thing I DO like is that it DOESN'T say Colorado Rapids or MLS.

Just as a side, outforkicks, and something to contemplate...
If you have C-firm on the scarf in bold lettering you may get more interest from those that may not know who you are.

I bring this up mearly as a marketing measure. That is, you should never really assume that you (or your group) is known. Some people on the other end of the stadium do hear and see you, but you can't assume they know who you are.
Having your name on the scarf can lead to people asking questions and you turning them into a member. Branding your apparel is almost allways a good thing.

Or, not... like I said, I just bring this up for contemplation.

None the less, this is a hell of a start. I hope you have interest for at least 150.

    2 more votes for #2.

I agree with outforkicks on the solid black lettering w/outline, and with askum on making sure our name is getting out there. I'm not sold on "FIRM STAND AGAINST APATHY", it seems clunky somehow. Like a sentence fragment, I guess, but Rita likes it.

Number 2 gets my vote and my money. I really like the stripes. I would change the wording to "Taking a firm stance against apathy"

Wait, I just looked at my signature and realy like it how about a quote from the Clavijo book of half understood quoteables "HOW REALLY TRUE FANS ARE YOU"

The status is we need about $900 up front to go forward with this. We'll be taking pre-orders and pre-payment at the C-Firm party on the 10th.

PLEASE BRING IF YOU WANT A C-FIRM SCARF, AS PRICE MAY GO UP IF WE HAVE ANY NEEDED AFTER WE SEND IN THE PAYMENT [:(].

FINAL DESIGN AND PHRASES WILL BE CHOSEN ON THAT DAY....

    *NO EXCEPTIONS*

Well maybe a little room to work with, but deadline is fast approaching...

I believe what Teddy meant to say there is "Please bring $15 to the party on the 10th if you wish to pre-order a scarf. We also hope to set up a Paypal account for this purpose before we send in the order. The cost of scarves after pre-order will likely go up to $20."

Sounds good. I'm down for one, maybe two (but do I really need to get one JUST to show off in the car?) :D

Im buying two one for the collection, the other for the car and my NECK...

Now all we need to do is actually hold them up, and be in unision during the entrance and anthem. Sort of like this....

    You mean like this?

That was from the inaugural game, probably would have gotten more scarves held up if we weren't using them to keep warm! ;)

    Party 2mro....
Final design will be chosen along w/ wording....

    Pre-Order: $15
    After deadline: $20

This is a great oppurtunity to get something going for next season already. Or it can make out to be a great Christmas gift [X-mas/Holliday gift] It also adds money to the C-Firm treasury...

    Hey,

Want to thank everyone who made it down to the CF end of the year party. It was really fun, had lots of great prizes and a fun FIFA tourney. My Thanks goes out to all those who contributed, I also want to thank all those who made it down there and made it a wonderful day/night. Thank You to Mr. Jimmyco and Mrs. Jimmyco for being such great hosts.

Just wanted to let people know we are still a few hundred dollars away from putting in the money for the CF scarves. So if you didn't sign up or weren't there, drop me a PM, and we can arrange something....
